Same lol, I think it’s because I used to hate him as a kid (what can I say, he’s a great heel!) and I just didn’t watch wrestling for a while at all, but his run in AEW has been great! Really happy to see him back and to seemingly be having fun with it
I am watching his old work in impact during the early days. He is an amazing heel and buttery smooth in the ring. I feel like he has gotten a bum wrap.
Jeff Jarrett was describing Dixie Carter From Designing Woman.. I can't breathe.. 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm 45 yrs. old.. So people my age Understand Why I'm laughing so Hard😂😂😂😂😂

Another great one from a guy that knows a thing or two about a good swerve... as a 52 yo that lived through BOTH Dixie Carter eras my hat is off to Ole Double-J here.
This was absolutely brilliant cause usually RJ does the deadpan humor while the guest is laughing from ear to ear. But here Jarrett is out deadpanning RJ lmao.
It flips. Generally with faces, he's deadpan. But the heels are usually more deadpan themselves, so he plays the giddier, silly one. It's actually a pretty genius way of doing it, and he's so natural in both roles.
I've watched wrestling since the 80s, from AWA and early NWA to present and this is by far the most invested I've ever been in Jeff Jarrett. RJ City is a gift.
Jarret held character for the whole interview! He now joins the elite ranks of those able to do that. Of course if he went in with the exact same version as his current TV persona, I don't if he would have been able to stay in kayfabe the whole time
FACTS and I think jarrett has done AMAZING in the role soo far he has not only expand aew more into the west but also has gotten aew to sign deals with dazn and espn to expand more internationally.
What an emotional Rollercoaster ride of an interview, you could tell several times how much Jarrett was tested by RJ, it was actually quite hysterical, image if Jeff used his guitar though on RJ. 🎸😯
"I taught the strut to a few select individuals" "Danny Bonaducce?" "No...do you know Adam Rich?" "No...did you teach it to him?" "No." That broke me hard
This is the longest Jeff Jarrett has gone without hitting someone that annoyed him with a guitar.
I’m pretty sure Conrad holds this Record still lol
Hey EW 😅
@@isurvivedtheshakerheightss7922 FACTS😂.
A real missed oppurtunity, If I'm being honest.
I'm surprised he didn't have a guitar sitting beside him on hand ready to swing lmao 😂 🤣 😆
Surprised how prepared some people are for this show. Geoff Garrett is an A+ guest.
This episode surprised the hell out of me. Jeff came prepared and was funny as hell
Ain't he great?
This is one of the best interviews to date. Love thus version of Jarrett.
But why?

Glad RJ got his fastball back. Last few guests haven’t exactly been the best I don’t think, but Jeff bounced off RJ as good as anyone has in a while
Thats future Country Music Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett!
Are you saying that cause Jeff wasn't allowed to bring his Guitar?
I can't believe how much I've come around on Jeff Jarrett! He's been tremendous in AEW!
That’s how I felt when he first started his podcast. Now I don’t miss an episode every week haha
Same here. He's in great shape and is an underrated heel. I love guitar shots and pop everytime. He is also the king of carnies.

Gained a ton of respect for Jeff & his dad after watching Tales From The Territories.
That show is a must watch.

36, I got it. LOL! My grandmother watched it
I never expected this episode to be such a tremendous emotional journey. I hope it gets made into a movie.
FACTS dude.
Possibly one with an appearance of Mummy III and some very distant relative of Don Knotts...
These two had way better chemistry than I would have ever imagined 😆
Jeff Jarrett has been a treat to watch in aew. Tony knows how to sprinkle the legends on his shows
You spelled his name wrong. He told you how to spell it in the video. 🤣
I have never before seen two guys be so on the same page.
What a treat this was.
Facts, Jeff knew what the bit was and committed to it.
Now THAT was entertaining. Jeff Showed his Versatility , Super Quick Wit and switching Heel/Babyface back & forth on a dime.
Dude is still super sharp!
This was absolutely brilliant cause usually RJ does the deadpan humor while the guest is laughing from ear to ear. But here Jarrett is out deadpanning RJ lmao.
Jeff committed to the bit and did it well.

"Gimme a second. Don't interrupt."
Just a wonderful moment.
RJ broke Jeff Jarrett at the Mummy joke
When I saw it was Jarrett, I had hopes he could go the distance. He didn’t make five minutes.
He broke him a few times. They just cut the others. Example: the "gums to nuts" line
Superbowl Sunday is even better when RJ is blessing us with another exclusive video. He's a blessing and let's hope these interviews continue 🙏.
FACTS.
I love how excited RJ always gets over Don Knotts. ❤
I really wasn't expecting that Dixie question and response
Yeah who knew Jeff was such a big Designing women fan.
1:28 I love how everyone cracks up and then it cuts. One of the funniest Hey! (EW) moments yet.
Never end this show. This is one of the highlights of my week when new episodes drop every week.
The ending was GOLD. Easily one of my favourite episodes.
I did not expect Jeff to be that quick on his feet - stupid me! Also, loved when RJ was mirroring him as he thought.
I think this is my favorite episode. Jarrett is as quick as RJ and they have such great chemistry!
This show is a gem, truly. Jeff Jarrett should've done acting gigs on the side.
He was ever so randomly in 'spring breakers' as a meetings leader
This was the best Hey EW to date! Jeff’s comedy timing is remarkable.
One of the main reasons we look forward to Sundays 🤣🤣🤣
I love how the best of these interviews are the ones with people that have been in the business the longest. They somehow get it.
Great RJ City I love him and this interview with Jeff Jarret made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂😂😂
1:30 broke him 😂 I thought JJ was going to avoid that but RJ is just too good.
The chemistry here is palpable. That uncomfortable silence in the middle made me piss myself laughing. Excellent work.
what a freaking legend. i absolutely understand why hes always booked.
I've watched wrestling since the 80s, from AWA and early NWA to present and this is by far the most invested I've ever been in Jeff Jarrett. RJ City is a gift.
I love how understatedly savage RJ was at 5:05 . "...and I've seen you wrestle". 🤣😂
Mummies boy?😂😂😂😂😂 “I feel like Charo”😂😂😂. That was a hilarious segment!!
The Jeff Jarrett we didn't know we needed.
How much better was this JJ than the cartoon villain we get weekly. An awesome portrayal.
The knowledge that JJ has is incredible and now he get's to pass it on and tech the upcoming AEW stars. Amazing. Love JJ
It makes sense, but JJ is really funny. Good timing, thoughtful, quick witted and savvy enough to meet RJC where he's at.
Good times.
I love how each episode becomes a classic
The Regal one was amazing, the Arn one is very iconic.
Jarret held character for the whole interview! He now joins the elite ranks of those able to do that. Of course if he went in with the exact same version as his current TV persona, I don't if he would have been able to stay in kayfabe the whole time
Fun Fact:
Jeff started in the business as a ref
This was good 😆
It's 1 of the best ways to get in apparently, that's according to jake the snake
RJ's knowledge of syndicated TV shows that are older than him is amazing.
RJ and Jeff bonding over their love of Designing Women wasn’t on my Bingo Card this year.
Absolutely, priceless. This was a fantastic episode. Great chemistry.
RJ can work SUCCESSFULLY with anyone.
For whatever reason, Double J being a Don Knotts fan absolutely makes my day haha
I love the moment where they realize that RJ has them and they can't help but drop the facade.
Hands down the best episode of Hey EW yet! I loooooove the Jaws Chief Brody and Sean Brody callback spot.
RJ brings out the very best in every guest. He is so valuable to AEW.
Agree
One of the best ones to date. I’m glad Jeff Jarrett with aew. RJ and Jeff are hilarious
Sugarbakers and Slapnuts. A match made in heaven!
RJ City: This is the Guy with the Chest Protector.. He's Referring to D.low Brown with the Head Shaking Gesture 😂😂😂😂
This is one of the best episodes to date. I love Double J.
Jeff Jarret as the last outlaw is wildly appealing. I cannot believe it. This was excellent.
"A famous Texas tradition we picked up in Tennessee."
Splendid 😄👍
I love a good awkward silence.
That bit killed me.
Love these interviews hope they don’t get rid of it anytime soon
The audio on this episode is incredible. Sometimes, silence is golden.
"You're going to go forward, we're not two-steppin' dumbass" got me 🤣
This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions!
This is why Jeff is such a treasure. I hope all of the younger wrestlers are paying attention to how he deals with RJ's curveballs.
RJ just joined the Lethal-Jarrett faction with this interview
I met Jarrett like 20 years ago in the Bahamas and he was an incredibly nice guy. Glad to see him still moving and shaking with young talent
You can say what you'd like about Jeff Jarrett(and probably be right), but the man knows entertainment and this was fucking hilarious
There is a solid chance that this is the best thing Jeff Jarrett has ever done.
Never seen this side of Jarrett before! He can be genuinely funny and likeable! Great episode!
Great chemistry! Best RJ video yet!
Dang it, now I'm a fan of Geoff Jarrett.
You misspelled Garrett
I am starting to enjoy how JJ and others have embraced RJ City. This is just crazy. RJ just needs to Between Two Ferns it.
The Dixie Carter answer was perfection.
I wait for these interviews every week!
6:37 I HOWLED 😂 she did WHAT? Not the Grandmummy!
This is 1000X better then anything Conrad has ever done with him.
I screamed "OH NO, RJ" when he reached for the guitar
What a baby face turn at the end!!!
1:43 you can hear someone laughing off camera lmao
It's total know stop action when RJ City scored another touchdown with an interview with Mr. Double J.
All of a sudden I am a even bigger Double-J Fan. Brilliant guest. Love it.
for those who don't know , Jeff Jarrett also serves in position as Director of Business Development in AEW .
serves*
@@user-gp7xw9cn2xI mean , job position in AEW .

wow, one of the best so far! rj is pure gold!
Loved the "Little bit lower" call back to the Andy Griffith show by Jeff that cracked RJ.
This is fun stuff.
LMAO, great episode. I like the Charo reference. That caught me off guard
One of the best interviews to date. And did I catch a subtle D'Lo Brown reference at the end?
This show delivers every week and this is one of the best yet.
8:21 Brilliant reference to the opening lyrics of "With My Baby Tonight"
BROADEN HIS CHEEKS JEOFF JARRETT im crying these keep getting better
Respect to the OG Double J
Throwing Tony Schiavone under the bus for Arquette. Hilarious.
But it’s true though. Tony is the one who joked about making Arquette the champ. Russo went “that’s brilliant!” and wrestling history was made. 😂
Makes sense the king of the mountain is also the peak of HeyEW. Can't believe these get better and better every time.
"You really spend your days working hard on the go," was the line of the ep.
What an emotional Rollercoaster ride of an interview, you could tell several times how much Jarrett was tested by RJ, it was actually quite hysterical, image if Jeff used his guitar though on RJ. 🎸😯
9:30 🤣🤣Omg, this had me lmao.
Jeff Jarrett has legit been fantastic in AEW. Who'd have thought it
13:03 I honestly don't think this was planned - I'm 99% sure RJ actually thought he was about to eat a guitar.
the Dixie Carter part was hilarious
If there's not an "I'm a Dixie Carter Guy" shirt already... 😂
Jarrett was incredible in this
That Dixie Carter burn was fire
🔥 🔥 🔥
I don’t think you got it.
I don't think you did. LOL

JJ with a Jordan Schlansky-level response to what he does in AEW.
He has various duties and tasks
@@powertrip25 "If you say the word various again, I'm having you arrested."
