I was stationed at Bentwaters/Woodbridge for about a year and a half.
I think I still have an old pair of fatigue pants you can have for that museum.
They still have holes from the parachute table and soot from the F-4E's J-79 exhaust.
I left for Holoman AFB in the summer of 1977.

I was at Bentwaters 1980-1981 and was part of the 81st Security Police Squadron. I was posted at the East Gate of Woodbridge the night of my UFO sighting. I wrote a book about it and it's effect on me and my future. "Rendlesham to Redemption - A Story of Transformation."

Sorry buddy but that is bullshit. I was day flight during that time and worked that gate. You cannot see dick from the gate shack. Likewise it was bitter cold, so you were not going to have the door open. So take the blue goose to birdwatcher's corner and tell Lt Buckingham or Skippy what to do.
Cops are not going to go oF chasing random lights riding a Sherpa. The fire department always rolls.

Woodbridge, Manston and Carnaby, all built to assist returning RAF & USAF aircraft from raids across Europe. I believe all installed with FIDO, with runways so wide they could carry on operations even if there was an accident. History worth remembering.

I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters from 89 until it closed. Good Times with many Great People. It's a shame what the assholes in Washington DC are doing and have done to the American Military, one day they may regret it.
