thanks larry, these guys really deserved it. In Germany its very hard with sponsoring compared to the USA and everybody here wants boring TUV approved builds, Holyhall are one of the few rare guys here that build interesting show cars.

@@Danteska90 Yeah, w/o subtitles, but if you switch on the auto-generated captions in YT, it gets pretty close, haha. Such a great shop though and they're cranking out some great builds.

Damn Larry that Capri is freaking dope, I have always been a big fan of the Capri body style, but that takes it to a new extreme. Big props to HolyHall for creating such amazing show cars for us to gander at. Ultrace is just a vibe, gotta appreciate them working to keep global car culture strong.

Wow what a beautiful creation , i remember the Zakspeed Capris and Mk2 Escorts . This is an amazing modern take on a racing legend and again Rotiform nailed the retro looks perfectly .

that capri is sick , my dad had a couple capris , but they spent a lot of time in battleship grey colour basecoat with body resin marks waiting to be buffed before getting painted. I think one he got was a 1.6GL that someone had the cylinders bored out to make it higher bhp and I remember he told me he used to put concrete paving slabs in the boot for going around the round abouts for when the back end would slide out, nothing like this fantastic looking car , but amazing what a ford capri can look like in the modern era.

As a German I had to giggle a bit at this - my English is also not the yellow from the egg... 😁
But to be fair: watching videos or movies is one thing - but having a conversation in a language that's not your first language is difficult, let alone in a loud environment. ✌️

By all external apperances I will agree that this car definitely was at the top of my list for the best car of the show. However, the fact that Peaches car was built to drive and looked wild at the same time gave it a slight edge.

Putting a LS in her is sheer sacrilege! The way the 1.7 i4 screamed around the track, the sound is incredible. Beautiful car, beautiful craftsmanship, just a shame they slapped an LS in there.
I bet that engine alone cost more (if you can get your hand on one) than the whole car did.
@@ironkcoony not as cheap as a dirty boat anchor of an LS, true. But just a bit more than what the rims cost. 😂 A Millington Diamond, whilst not true to the original would be a hell of a swap, cost £25k in the UK. That's 350bhp non turbo and makes one hell of a noise!

Oh but that's an industry-wide phenomenon. Every manufacturer from every corner of the world is ruining their well known, reputable model names.
The best example that comes to mind is the ford mustang, just look at what they have done to it. And there are oh so many more.

I've always loved the capri, for me it was always a terrible British version of a muscle car.
I had a laser many years ago.. Looked the part but went nowhere fast...

I love the Zakspeed Capri and the Restomod is great, too. But the lights at the rear of the car. I dont understand, it almost ruined the car.

Beautiful build, but getting in and out doesn’t look like it would be fun with how limited the door opening is.

They made a video were they summed up the cost of the project. The material for the car is about 58.000€, some things were sponsored and the fabrication plus painting is completly made by themselves

But putting all that effort into building it, then loading onto the trailer like that... Just doesn't cut it. I remember Pauly Tuttle ripping stripes of his guys for doing a similar thing with one of their bikes on American Chopper.
The irony of talking down on this build and then referring to those American Chopper hackjobs as being proper builderd😂

I did agree with about 35 other posts that there might have been other engine potions that could have been a better fit with this build than that of an LS. But I understand why they went that route. And that's their choice and it's their build.
Nor did I referred to American Chopper as being proper, bike builders. However in a time space, when most of the rest of the world only had a choice of 4 ( if that ) terrestrial TV channels to watch, most of which were either news or police crime drama. Discovery took a big chance and launched programs like American Chopper and American Hot rod, both of which were immensely popular, and refuelled not only the bike, and hot rod scene but also countered Rat Rod and general car scene which was at the time dying on it's a@ss
