There is quite a history to Brohm Ridge. It was the abandoned Ski Resort with no Tomorrow. There were chairlift towers, a chalet and hamlet etc, at the top, and a chairlift station down below a few decades ago. The reason it failed was lack of investors and not enough snow in this particular area. If you dig a little deeper, Cat Lake (below) was a mill pond for a small railroad logging operation as well. If you look hard enough the railroad ties and grade is still there along the west side of the lake. Cheers. 😁
Oh cool. I'll have to have a look for the rail line. I did another vid on the proposed ski resort on Brohm. Last I heard, it had finally died. ruclips.net/video/SXdArqiIBAY/видео.html
I had the KLR up there a few years back. It was a workout for sure. The road looks better than I remember it. I’ll have to give it another look. Thanks for the video.
That view looking back at Squamish and Bowen Island is incredible! Thanks for the great landscape shots and the map showing your route at the end! Were those cut-outs for drainage or to deter vehicle access? Thanks! 👍
I’m confused. You need to pass the Chalet by a good mile, then it turns into singletrack, then you reach the top. Did you pass the steel gate? Did they close off the road to the Chalet? I did this on my WR ruclips.net/video/GFLVvKsUjHY/видео.html
Cool video. You went left at what I call the new road, I went right. I have been to the gate but never above it. That is way higher (almost 1000ft) and very cool looking!
Awesome content. Thanks for sharing these tracks and experiences.
Thanks! Glad youliked.

Yes, that would be a workout! Glad you liked the vid.
that's pretty scary steep!
Yes, but what a view!

I think they were for drainage but they are unusually large and a lot of them.
You need to get the 3.1 gallon IMS tank. I can get around 225km per tank. I have the 4.7 tank as well but its too big!
Yes, I've looked at them a few times. Not sure if I will keep the two bikes so reluctant to spend the $s until I am sure.

Not me in the video but it did take me a couple of tries to summit. Being dry made a big difference
