Aaaah, this is SO good! The drawings are so well done and affecting, and the timing of the frames with the lyrics and rhythm is so satisfying… the storytelling here is excellent, and it really feels like it would read well to people even if they don’t know the backstory - I feel like they’d have a good idea from this about the turmoil between them. Oh and the frames from the different knights saying “beautiful, powerful”, cut to Diluc saying “dangerous”, cut to Kaeya all lonesome and brittle… It’s just *chef’s kiss* perfecto~!
i never expected frozen heart to be in animatics i used to be so obsessed with this song years ago being a cringy kid that i even memorised the swedish, norwegian and german lyrics 😭
I love this animatic because it really shows that you can do your own thing if you believe in it. Like, combining a song from Frozen (I feel like people most people would go for a less energetic song like Let It Go) for Kaeya / Cryo characters but you really make it work. I love it.
Just so you know they’re technically siblings through adoption, so please don’t ship them. It’s weird in my opinion to ship them but you can have your own opinion

I always thought that the reason why c4 Kaeya's constellation (I think) is a shield because his vision shielded him from Diluc that day
i also think so! the shield only protects him if his hp is less than 20%
