Too much trouble to assemble and disassemble. In photo shoots and sessions you need equipment that can be broken down and set up quickly. Thumbs down on this soft box.

I don't really care what type of camera you have and what off-camera modes you have.. I want.. Step 1 do this step 2 do that... and when its done, I'll close your video and move on with my life.

Assembling them is easy but taking them down is a BITCH! Once you get one rod out, however, you can easily slip the rest out of the black pockets in each corner.
With my Godox Octa 140cm I pretty much had to ignore the numbers entirely to get it correctly set up. Just start by building an X shape with the rods and the second X to be build is blatantly obvious.
excuse me, could you please tell us more about the relation between the numbers marked on the ring and the shape of the softbox ? I mean i cant find a guide on where to connect the rods depending on the softbox's shape.Thanks

Does the inner metal insert rotate freely with the outer? It seems like I’m meant to lock the whole thing into the mount with a bayonet style lock but the diffuser itself spins as I try to mount it. It’s very awkward.

I bought the 120 cm version. Assembly: 1.46 minutes Dissassembly 40 secs. I had the most problem with dissassembly at first.
It's pronounced "Dis-a-semble". Please learn to speak properly as it will make your videos more enjoyable to watch

lil tip, once you have one or two out you can just pullthem off from the fabric rather than making force in every bar.
Inserting the last couple of rods was a nightmare! I wonder if I would unassemble this ever.😅
