@@jmgonzales7701 Yes, the country with the most military victories is unfortunately known for surrendering, even though not all France surrendered in WWII and many kept fighting on different fronts.
As a french, I'm offended....that you didn't do a video as punny as this one for the lebel (which is french too)! Keep up the good work, really appreciate your channel, hi from France !
One of my favorite things about the Berthier is the ammo economy. Since it has a smaller chamber than the Mosin and Lebel, it gets more ammo from ammo boxes than both of them. Since you get 2 ammo for the lebel at boxes, and normally about 3 for the mosin, getting 4 base from ammo crates since 12/3 vs 10/3 and 5/3 means you can keep yourself in fights longer and play the attrition game, which can be useful in trio matches where fights can run quite a while even with good contact and dmg.
Also if you get two different kinds of ammo on it you get 3 rounds more in total. Single ammo 3+12 Normal ammo + custom ammo 3+6 + 3+6 = 18, and you don't need bulletgrabber.
Personally, I prefer the Vetterli for the attrition game. 20 reserve and 7 in the chamber, not even counting secondary weapons adding to the ammo pool.
Ammo economy is the most important benefit of this gun. Excluding the single shot rifles, Long ammo rifles get 15 bullets. The Berthier has the most reserve ammo so it gets the most back per box. And unlike the Mosin or the Lebel, it makes sense to bring 1 extra ammo type with the Berthier because it doesn't just let you cycle ammo to top off outside of fights, it gives you an extra magazine of ammo. When I am try-harding I like to bring the Scottfield swift with fanning for close range, and the Berthier with half normal ammo and half spritzer ammo. This gives me 18 long ammo shots to play with and any time the enemy loses sight of me for a second at either range I can have a fully reloaded weapon ready to bear. Pair this with 1 ammo box just in case you need it and you can put out more bullets at any range in less time than just about any other loadout.
Bringing special ammo does not give you another clip, the game gives you 9 bullets, 3 already loaded, for the first ammo type and 6 for the second one you bring. Still, topping off is nice since bullet grubber costs a ton of points and also takes almost as much as the ammo swap strategy
To put it in numbers: Lebel 1-2 ammo per Box Mosin 2-3 per Box Berthier 3-4 per Box The Berthier gets you insanely fast back after a fight, one resupply is enough to fully fill the Berthier while you have a hard time getting your Lebel back to full without an uppercut as a scondary

While reloading after shooting can lose you 2 more bullets the fact that you have the highest pickup of all the long ammo rifles (except single shot ones) is a significant benefit.
