Thanks for all the reviews and updates. I watched this when it came out. I am pausing my prestige runs to unlock and visit every gun right now so I came back to this video. I've been running this gun with levering, pack mule, decoy fuses, and new army with dum dum. I've been impressed at how much crowd control it offers. My duo partner runs lebel marksman for range and I handle aggressive pushes. It's been very successful. When trios move up I can force them to slow down with bleed and blast anyone who gets through. The aim punch factor is real. Again thanks for the laughs and the info.

The Terminus with levering and flechette is one of my all time favorites. Just remember that this is your long range weapon, not your CQB gun. Its all about making them suffer
same here i would actually rather use that than a crown and king just because flechette gives it some range which can help alot in some compounds also i think the fire rate with levering is higher then the crown but im not 100% sure
@@vip3r192 Recoil is much better with full sized Terminus + Levering vs the C&K which kicks so bad, you must wait a just a little longer to stabilize your aim at 10m in order to fire again accurately

The terminus still really suffers with levering in the form of its movement penalty after firing. Because of that, I wouldn't mind further buffs like a price reduction or a less significant movement penalty

I appreciate the Annihilation injection into the Hunt content. More Annihilation is always good. Imagine that as the surprise boss at the end of this event that clearly has something to do with cosmic horror (see phase 3/4 viper)
The statistics in menu are supposedly wrong and the centennial now fires just a touch faster than Vetterli but it’s an extremely minuscule difference of less than a second.
Well, remember that that is rpm anyway, which means it also factors in reload(Don’t remember them off the top of my head, but that could be why it looks off)
Centennial used to be my favorite head clicker, after the update though? Well, now it is my favorite head clicker, but 20% faster. Being right at the border between 5 and 6 MMR it is my go to option at going for the close to medium range playstyle I like, just far enough shotguns won't feel confident, but close enough the long rifle peeps get pressured by my higher firing rate. This versatility is a good answer to most situations. I do feel like the weapon shouldn't get a Buff though. I feel like any of the stats are dangerously close to the next decisive powerspike. Damage Buff? It would one-shot anyone who was downed once. Range buff? The weapon would become the fastest reliable two tap weapon. Velocity buff? Fastest base velocity in the game. Handling buff? Levering here I come. Ammo buff? You don't need a medium secondary any more. The weapon is precise, fast firing, and has a velocity on par with long ammo rifles, all qualities for a high chance for headshots. It is essentially a long ammo weapon without the tryhard/metaslave vibe to it.
A levering buff woulndt be that bad honestly, 3 points to make the weapon worse is just an awful desicion (hipfire is kind precise without levering, with levering dont even try). Before the winfields got fmj I did unterstand the sentiment that a winfield with medium wall bang would be to strong etc, but fmj winfield has more wallbang, levers faster and is more precise than the centenial. It would fit perfectly and would make the centennial a bit more unique than it currently is.
The terminus really is that ex I know will hurt me but I long to go back to. But I have this lovely romero alamo now, so maybe it's time to stop looking back.
Who only ever uses what is best or most efficient will never have the most fun! That's why I love the Centennial, even have before the buff, because while it is certainly not the best, it just feels way more satisfying then it's direct competitor the Vetterli (which I also really like) or even the Mosin and Lebel. Must be the sound, animation and just the overall playstyle it allows you to use.
The biggest draw for the centennial for me is the 600m/s velocity. its versatile as you can take poison on the sniper variant and either get easy headshots or poison them so their our of the fight for 5 seconds
As someone who unironically loved both those guns *before* the patch, this has been great. I mean terminus+levering is just a statistically identical (but way cooler) K&C with more bullets. For the centennial poison, I probably wouldn't ammo pool even if I had the option. I love it, but the lack of penetration can screw you. That said, combo'd with dualies or a new army+FMJ or something, it makes a fantastic one-two hit in areas with soft walls. The first hit is enough that people don't want to stay in the open, and the poison gives a good deal more time of trying to shoot them through the wall before they heal.
This video helped me to despise the Terminus just a little bit less. Thank you! BTW, shooting an explo bolt is satisfying, but rare. I actually managed to shoot one with the hunting bow and cause it to explode in a guy's face. The video is the most recent one on my channel. I was in pure disbelief when it happened. The terminus is bizarre. I picked up the game again for the first time in almost 2 years and started using the terminus with levering & flechettes. I feel like it was specifically designed for console players, where one-hit kills are way more rare outside of sniping and melee ranges. It's all about keeping up pressure and keeping aggressive enemy players out of a comfortable CQC pocket, which I see happen way more often on console than on PC.
The Terminus handcannon could be even better if they add flip-cocking as well as levering, you could then go full Terminator 2 on the poor saps unlucky enough to meet you in the bayou
The centennials one and only use full purpose is the sniper scope. It's pretty much worse than vetterli in every way. But it IS the only high firerate smr like with acces to a sniper scope.
Centennial always felt good to use but I always thought the rate of fire should be better than the vetterli for balance. Now that it is, Centennial and Pax (the all American classic) is my new meta.
It's kinda funny, I don't keep up with metas at all bc I don't really play much, only have 40ish hours, but I used the centennial last time I played and it was a consistent two shot with poison ammo for me
I just watched Peach Cobbler's review of the Annihilation and then wanted to check what's up with the Centennial. The very next video I click on starts with Annihilation OST. Universe indeed does work in mysterious ways
To me the guns are still bad baseline but are now very good with the perks. Iron Repeater really makes the Centennial shine and the terminus is a monster with both Iron Repeater and Levering. I just wish they weren't held back by the perks, it feels like Crytek is afraid to make the guns baseline good because they get good perks.
I used to hate the centennial but now it's become one of my go to guns, with fmj. Still haven't found myself needing any shotgun other than the romero unless one is kindly donated to me.
After trying few shotguns Slate is one shotgun that has let me down the most After they "buffed" Terminus's spread so it is more consistent than ever But Slate, it has so random spread pattern that it must be RNGesus's favorite child to let people down
Like to puns, good job. What comes to the Centenial, I feel that ppl underestimate it always. BV is such a big thing when trying to hit moving targets.

The Centennial didn't have it's store stats changed for some reason, but it fires at 45-47 ish RPM.

Hell yeah, brother. That thing fucking shreds. I eventually switched to penny shot for the memes but flechettes levering is fucking nasty.

I already loved to use the Terminus in the past. It is the only shotgun, which feels really satisfying to play and does save kills.
