Is this the Bay of Islands? It looks familiar. Did 3 month trip around the North and Big Island a couple of years ago. Thanks for the slo-mo. His arm remains behind until it goes straight and then his upper body and shoulder jerk the whole arm across his chest and he whips the disc out wicked fast as his upper torso keeps rotating. Amazing body mechanics.
I think if he worked really hard to perfect his form he may be able to get another 2 feet out of his throws
Beautiful throws, beautiful landscape, beautiful music! Thanks for this.
This is awesome. I've been wanting to see more high speed footage of Simon for so long.
Handpan and Disc Golf, my 2 favorite things! =D
Awesome video! These soundeffects when he does the 360 cracked me up :D
Cheers! Thought it was appropriate.
björn bäsecke That's the direct audio capture, he actually makes a sonic boom every time he does a 360 throw.
He turns his body so far in his reach back and the rest of his throw is so smooth. Definitely some things to think about this upcoming season
Thanks for putting this together, very nice to see.
The ending soooooo cool, i swear. Awesome video, really helps out being able to see everything in motion so clearly.
Man, thanks so much for putting this together.
Nice music--novel for a DG video.
I love the look on his face after he throws sometimes. Even he seems surprised how far he can throw.
Thank you very much, it inspires us.
Lovely video!
liked for the music
i agree with everyone else, this is a great video!
Chris what happened to the Porsche rebuild?

When I saw "240 FPS"... I also thought it could mean 240 feet per second too. I wonder, at the point of release, what the MPH of the disc is?
Depends on who is throwing it, but these guys are around 70-80mph with their biggest throws.
Lizotte's record speed at release is 144 kmh (89.5 mph). So only 131 feet per second, close though!
I actually saw a video on Instagram of Simon throwing 94mph last week.
***** the disc slows down when it glides and fades. he said the fastest he's gotten was 96 mph once
@@SteezDG the disc slows down after release? I would have never thought
Music credits?
He throws way too far. It is scary.
