Simon Lizotte captures his first win U.S. win.
Simon's arm is unbelievable! He makes it look effortless and violent at the same time.
Been really digging Lizotte. Great player now, I can only imagine how much better better he will get. Gave McBeth a run in the GBO. A few more years and I see Lizotte a champ for a while.
Great coverage! Grats to Simon. Haven't seen Dollar play before, but impressed me with a lot of his shots.
I feel like Simon is trolling these guys sometimes...
i love looking at this just to think how much better simons technique is now
I actually liked the one he had before:)
Go, Simon. Good luck this weekend as well...
Always awesome to watch Simon throw. Cant wait to try and beat him someday
Go Simon!
This is some beautiful footage. Commentary would be nice.
20:54 tree love!
yeah, sometimes trees are lovely :D
Too many slow-mo shots. Slow-mo should only be for great shots.
How old is Phil Arthur, he dresses like a G!
around 45 the dude is super cool and throws a mile
Ridiculous Simon shots: 4:15, 6:27, 18:01, 19:50
Erik Hansen I love how in the one at 19:50 even he was surprised about where it came down.
Thanks man, that's all any of us came to see anyway, right?
The shot he made on the final hole was amazing. He took a line over the top of all the trees that no one believed possible.
Simon seems like a pretty nice guy. I got to chat a little with him and Avery at Bowling Green and watched him throw 500'+ shots up hill there. Huge arm!
anyone notice avery jenkins was simons caddy?
Sntacs Rage Im pretty sure at rhis time they were touring together so it makes sense.
Avery was signed up to play and had to drop due to an injury. He was the caddy for the final nine.
Do pros really get upset if you say"nice shot!" before disc lands?
Played the course with
Matt$ three weeks ago, still threw a roller on 15, parked on the. Clark
16:35
How does his putt go that far on a line? He doesn't even try and it goes 80 feet.
dang Simon is fun to watch! Thanks for the vid.
Simon Lizotte will be the world's #1 player by the end of the year, I predict. So solid. Can beat the pros. And with this summer's tour in the States, he's going to be great for the future of disc golf
it looks like you predicted wrong... hes a baller, but mcbeth and will are still a step ahead of everyone
Yeah, he's definitely slowed since the beginning of the season. McBeast is so solid, no weaknesses. And it's good to see Will back on top.
its just incredibly how flawless both their games are
Couldn't have been more true - "Simon ... great for the future of disc golf"
Thanks again for the footage but rather HD 720 than 1080
Well then change it, it worked for me
John Willis first there wasn´t 720 option at least in Finland but now there is so thanks!
Lol the awkward handshake moment at 25.10....
It took an eagle to overtake the box from Dollar. Impressive round he had.
i want to throw up every time matt dollar throws a drive.
+Syfiewow lol someones jealous they're not as good
not really, his form is ugly and he didnt seem like anything special.
You haven't played with him in person. Dollar's throw is as smooth as they come. There's a reason he's the number one player in Georgia.
Hahaha, you know your great when Avery Jenkins is carrying your bag!!!
Simon is going to be the next champ...
Nope
not with that putting. not good enough yet
My Nam
YUP, plenty good enough already. He was on cruise control for this video. He will be top 3 in the world very soon. Its him or Mcbeast for the #1 in my eyes.
That's what they said about Jesper.
takman17 Jesper was never as good as Simon.
My Nam Yeah, check out the Glass Blown Open footage buddy. Simon isn't that good. Pffft...
Wish i could shape a golf ball like that!!! ;-)
12:49 watch the finish , its so funny, like he thinks hes a ninja
What kind of baskets are they playing on and how much do they run?
Arturo Guzman they run 540miles
Ching Chainstars. PDGA approved but no longer in production.
What was the red disc on the left that they gave out?
Nice shooting Simon!
sorry 15:49 ninja time
really great
Awesome. Love watching Phil!
that's why I'm here
Averi Jenkins caddi for Lizotte?
Ty for telling! Wish i lived abit closer to were they play. Then i could go see them live maby!
Avery was signed up to play and had to drop due to an injury. He was the caddy for the final nine.
I'd love to be able to rip a drive 350-400ft
+Jarrod Schrunk its not as hard as it sounds.
Its the matter of knowing how to do a power throw and getting your hyzer right. :) after 2 weeks of playing i was able to throw a 400ft
Haven't attempted to try to go farther now that i have a better disc for distance and have perfected my power throw.
this might sound dumb but. go out to a field with a camera record yourself throwing the disc. not the disc you throwing the disc. watch your replays. watch the pro how to throw videos. go record yourself trying to imitate to the best of you ability what the pros do. watch your replays rinse and repeat. mcbeth has said it, simon has said it, eagle has said it imitate your favorite players study their form watch how they runup it all takes practice. and these guy eat sleep live disc golf. while we are at work they are throwing plastic.
+Jonathan Pham totally agree! I watched Avery and mcbeth and Simon all three helped me get better by watching them and trying what they suggest. mcbeth helped me with my putting, Avery helped me with my grip and throw and Simon helped me with my distance. it's all about practice and willing to try and have a bad game to get better.
Lamborghini07 check out XSJunkie youtube channel hes got a few of the clinics recorded with climo and others.
Yep, I swear by video analysis for training. I used to ski freestyle and once I got to a certain level, video became a big part of training. It's like a whole new world of progression once you see yourself in action.
Speaking of video and disc golf, I have some funny footage of a day of disc golf with a few friends of mine, two of whom are pretty big drug addicts. There's one bit of Thomas prepping for a putt while the other two a smoking a crack pipe about ten feet behind him.
Boring.
Another great video. It is always fun seeing pros cut up a course you've played before, especially one that tough. Congrats to Simon for the win. Also, commentary brought to you by Cody.
