I see undisguised humility in him,but i would have appreciated him the more if he let people realize that his refusal to participate in secular films is as a result of what the Bible says in 2 Cor 6:14 -18 and Eph 5:11,instead of attributing it to staying in the purpose of what God has called him into. I believe striking this point will glorify God and His Word more than saying "i don't want to do something outside of God's purpose for my life." It is our implicit obedience to God's word that keeps a believer in God's purpose. Correcting and warning born again believers to desist from acting in secular films does not mean you're castigating them,but rather telling them the plain truth. I heard you say,some believers probably participate in secular films to enable them put food on their table ,this is completely unscriptural, if that is the case, any Christian can justify himself or herself to work in a brewery where beer is produced and sold, or pick up a job as Salesman in a tobacco company distributing cigarette in order to make ends meet. I believe our God won't be happy seeing His sons and daughters picking up such questionable jobs. Please let's stop pretending as if we don't understand what the Scripture is saying in this regard. Perhaps you don't want people out there to get offended, the Bible says "The fear of man brings a snare...."Prov 29:25a., don't let us water down the Gospel in order to receive men's accolades. Then what should be the disposition and demeanour of a born again child of God,who is looking for how he or she would put food on the table and finds himself or herself in such a situation, though he or she is not the one interpreting these ungodly roles,but he or she witnesses these evil activities being perpetrated right before his or her two naked eyes? The scripture says in Rom 1:32 "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do same, but have pleasure in them that do them".why should a born again believer embrace things that displease God and still claim he or she is in tune with God. God commands us to do two things first,in Eph. 5:11 to reprove them. second," to come out from among them,and be ye separate,saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing;...2Cor 6:17. In a plain language of the scripture,Christians are referred to as sheep,while unbelievers are goats. These are two opposing natures,with two distinct tastes,tendencies, inclinations and mannerisms. Unequal yoke is completely forbidden in the Bible. Birds of a feather,fluff together., The scripture says "evil communications corrupt good manner" The word of God also says "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin", James 4:17. Let's try and strike scriptural balance in this interview for the sake of those who are young in faith, so that they will not be misled and go into erroneous belief,thinking it's a normal thing for a Christian to engage in secular film acting in order to put food on the table.
