Glad you enjoyed it. George Lucas insisted on the fairy tale ending where everyone lives. :) Episodes 1 thru 6 are the story of Anakin / Vader (and are entirely under the artistic control of Lucas. No Disney yet.). For those who grew up with the prequels, seeing young Anakin here is often quite emotional for them, so I think Lucas made the right decision to insert him here. After this movie, for many years it seemed as if Star Wars was done forever. He didn't release the next Star Wars movie until 16 years later.

Right yeah that makes sense. It threw me off a little seeing Hayden Christensen in a 80s movie but I get it though lol
