Since I've started my content repurposing business, I noticed I am starting to outgrow my friends. I don't care about what anyone else is doing, it's their choice. I just want to discuss business and building my life. And when people gossip around me, I actually feel gross. It's weird when you outgrow people, and you can't pinpoint what has changed. But you just feel different!

I'm working on keeping the insecurities at bay lol
I'm 24 🇿🇦 and I can confidently say:
-My vision keeps getting clearer each day, it's not perfect, I'm still confused here and there but I'm learning
- Oh my mental health is everything to me and I'm grateful for a girlfriend that I can go to and talk to knowing she'll comfort me if I need comfort or she'll hold me accountable if needs be
- 🤦🏿♂️ The struggle of having to let go of childhood friends that don't understand my goals, but instead of just letting go of them I'm trying to instill a different mindset in them
- 😫 I Breezed through school and tertiary, I was only unemployed for less than a year, I'm so scared to fail
- I'm 5 month's into investing and growing

Dont put your money in a 401k. There are better ways to invest money where it wont be taxed at retirement.
@@lovexoxo76 That is often true, but it depends on the 401k available to you. Usually, "Match beats Roth, Roth beats Regular, Regular beats not doing anything." We luckily have access to a Roth 401k with a match. That's a winner.

I sold my home recently. 1. Because it was the only thing keeping me in a city I was not thriving in. 2. Because it helped release me from quite a bit of debt. 3. To be closer to family. Now I’m working on my plan to build something that has sustainability and longevity.

"Tell yourself no." I love it. Nearly 37 years ago I graduated with an engineering degree and started working. I could easily have afforded a brand new sports car. I REALY REALY REALY wanted it, but I told myself "no" to it (and a lot of other things over the years) and bought a $400 hooptie car instead. I only missed not having the new sports car for a while...don't even remember the make and model now. I've made a few financial mistakes over the decades, but kept on investing steadily. Now I'm in my 60's, in "Baby Step 7", and ready for retirement. This stuff works, folks! Get after it!

I wish I read Daves book in my 20's. I'm 36 now and in baby step 2. I'm a single parent with 2 small kids. I didn't have my first kid until I turned 30. Wish I knew the importance of saving in my 20's. I could of gave my babies a better life. I will be sure to pass down all the financial advice I've been learning. It's probably the best gift a parent can give a child. Besides life. Thank you for posting these videos.

I am in my 20s completing postgrad studies. I do not see myself working up to the age of 40 or more.. There is more to life than getting up in the morning to go to work and spend most of our time in the office just because of money. We tend to complicate life..at the end of the day all these things we strive to achieve will not take us anywhere when we leave this planet. I will rather spend my time on things that really matter such as spiritual growth, help the community wherever we can, and live a sustainable lifestyle..This was however insightful. I will certainly put this to practice 👍👍 Bless up from Africa

Society and my family members failed me when it came to finances. But I found you guys 3 years ago, student loans paid off and am now investing and have 5 digits finally lol. This needs to be taught in high school as a mandatory class, not just a quick segment that gets “taught” and moved on about. Im passing this knowledge onto my younger 22 year old brother.

Knowing the difference between assets and liability is what I learned in my 20's. Being debt free came next.
The thing is my generation doesn't want to sacrifice. Lots of people are afraid of failure. I am way ahead in Life because I never allow people to divert me from my goals. My life is not perfect but it is way better then what I thought it would be, because of the sacrifices I made years ago I collect my payment now.
That's the best lesson I've learned this year.
Thank you for including 'Mental Health'. We focus too much on the topic of mental health as someone with some sort of deficiency. We then miss the truth that, like physical health, mental health for everyone requires regular maintenance.

Beginners often make the mistake of tradlng cryptos on their own without having the required skills to benefit from the market

I totally agree with having a vision. I sold my house where the payment was 27 percent of my take home pay and bought another house that’s payment is 16 percent of my take home pay, of course on a 15 year fixed rate. I have no consumer debt and even though my former house was manageable financially I have a bigger vision for my future that made it worth downsizing. I will pay off the house so much faster so I can save more towards retirement and other life goals.

We ALL have been influenced by family + "background" + personal events....BUT WE MUST keep going & overcome any such "things" that hold us back or get us involved in bad actions that "hold us back" so we can't get ahead & learn to live a better life.
POSITIVE family + friends is very important.
EDUCATION + REAL KNOWLEDGE sets you on the right path.
FAMILY with BOTH parents in the house leads to success.
RELIGION & core strong beliefs gives you peace + comfort in your daily life.
GOOD FRIENDS with beliefs + actions like you have....builds a network for your life + work + sense of worth.
I watch Dave & love his famous rants as well as his common sense & "beans & rice, rice & beans"......

I agree. I'm 23 and it's hard finding a mentor to help me figure this stuff out. Trying to break generational patterns in my family. I think it's easier for people to make excuses for being where they are vs making changes to better their life. But we can do it! 💪🏽

Go through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. At 40-50 years old you're only about half way along in your journey of life.
It's NOT too late to change direction until you get to your destination, so make a change, now.

Anthony I feel your story. My mum is a single mother, she's brought up 3 kids, pretty much by herself. She has had to put herself into debt for the best part of her youth, it's been a struggle and i've witnessed that struggle. But, she still remains happy. I don't want that life, and I want to be in the position to give her the life she should have been able to have!
