I disagree. I think Sally's right. You're giving them a seat at the table. We shouldn't even gives this kind of nonsense a second thought - if someone mentions it you should just think of them as slow and move on. Take this specific podcast, they've now given this ridiculous notion 5+ minutes of our collective time (which ads up to just about a year? 100k x 5min = 1year =?). All it does is add legs to the ridiculousness, even if just subliminally. The more you address and spread it, the more people see it and believe it - it becomes more viable and it's foundation grows. Just ignore it and let it whimper away like the weak people who, if even vaguely, give it a second thought. Look how far the flat earth movement has gone. Look at the anti-vaxxers. If you address it, make content about it, it grows. Even if you address it negatively or jokingly... it all just adds up. I used to stay in Baltimore hotels for work and they were usually the worst. I would come in after working 3rd shift and they would would put me in a room right under or above construction which would start an hour after I fall asleep. Then at 11 they would start knocking or just straight up coming into my room to clean. So sleep was sooo rough. I remember one single day there I had house keeping knock and come into my room 3 times before I left at 6 that night. Absolutely ridiculous service
