Great plugin, but couldn’t get it to work again after mistakenly collapsing all the controls. Uninstall and re-install didn’t help. Any idea how to fix this?

I closed the windo with the toolbar by mistake and now is not appearing anymore. How can I fix this?

Does this still work in 3sa Max 2022? When I try to drag it to my toolbar, it just has a cancel symbol over it and won't dock.
Hi NinjaPoD, Thank you for watching! the script still works with 3ds Max 2022.
In this version of MAX the "Keyboard" tab was removed from the customize user interface, because of this the Quad tab is selected by default instead of the Toolbars tab like in the video, if you drop the Quad tab scripts to your toolbars you are going to get the cancel symbol. What you can do is to select the toolbars tab and then drag the script to your toolbar.

Hi @Djonessy, yes, it works with 3ds Max 2024, after dragging and dropping the ms script to your viewport you then need to add it to a toolbar you can find it under TheFactionCGI category, let me know if this was helpful. Thank you for watching!
Bro what's the solution for missing script i have costumed a toolbar but now everything is gone and whatever I add script after closing the max it will give me missing script in the next time i open the max

how to prevent the helper from disappearing when clicking on the other viewport?
Hi sc pk, thank you for watching, unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this :( it seems to be something with how 3dsmax viewports work.
However, If you like to work with the rule of thirds it is possible to adjust the 3dsmax safe frame to show it permanently anytime the safe frames are activated in the session, to do this you need to Open Viewport Configuration > Safe Frames then change the following values:
- Check Action Safe > Uncheck Lock > Change the Horizontal value to 66.6 > change the Vertical Value to 0.0
- Check Title Safe > Uncheck Lock > Change the Horizontal value to 0.0 > change the Vertical Value to 66.6
- Then turn on the Safe frames by pressing Shift + F

Is there a way to lock the helper onto one viewport rather than switching between multiple viewports?
Hi Benti, Thank you for watching! as far as I know, it's not possible with this script, it changes to the active viewport automatically, I usually use the transform panel or viewport navigation controls to do adjustments to the camera using one viewport. 😊

Hola @josemiguelbermudezostos9932, esta version del script la he utilizado con 3dsmax 2020-2023, para 3dsmax 2018 intenta contactar a thefactioncgi para saber si tienen una version compatible o puedes buscar el script original de Christoph Buelter en scriptspot.

Hi Valerio Maione, yes it does work for 3dsmax 2022, what I recommend to you is creating a new toolbar instead of adding it to the main toolbar, you can see how to do it in the video - ruclips.net/video/Iw_d95vJgng/видео.html
