The Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag and Smart Tag 2 are great trackers for locating any item you cannot find. I actually use my Smart tag for all my toys and vehicles that have value to hopefully help recover them if they are ever stolen.
From time to time you may need to reset your smart tag to help resolve issues. Luckily, it is fairly easy to do a factory reset on these devices one you know the steps.

So my friend from work gave me his Samsung smart tag cause he now owns an iphone but this reset isnt working for me,any other suggestions?

Has the smart tag ever been connected to another account? If so, it should be un bound first

Ahh, indeed it is.he says he doesn't know how to do it with an iphone,can he download the smart things app with ios? Maybe? Onward to google! Lol
