There’s a weird glitch on the Blur Bridge level. If you play the game in 50hz mode, pause the game and select ‘View Stage’ the moving platforms suddenly become much wider. I don’t know why it happens but it does.
Interesting trivia! The only one I already knew was the 1 point on monkey target for landing back on the ramp, I spent hours mucking around in that mode. You also get 1 point for landing anywhere on the support structure surrounding the ramp. Another oddity in monkey target is that if you build up enough speed before opening your wings, you can dive underwater and then pull back to take off into the air again and continue your turn.

I have another possible option for a part 2 if you didn’t know about already (though since you speedrun you probably have seen it). I decided to try the speedrun strat on Expert Extra 6 cause I was bored. While I didn’t get it I did manage to bounce off the first bottom loop and clip into the side of the tube. So that was cool and if you somehow haven’t come across it it’s pretty neat
I absolutely love this video format, DarkViper is great and I’m glad you’ve taken inspiration there :) A sequel to this would be perfect, maybe even some SMB2?
Yo! I like this game! But i can’t get to master! Cuz of those stupid slippery controls! Like. People say sonic heroes is slippery! But trust me. You have not experienced anything! Until you have played monkey ball 2 or deluxe for a while and then went back to 1. My. Gosh! (So maybe i don’t like this game)
Sammy Kenobi try the glitch that allows you to skip to expert extra 1. Beating all 10 levels is still hard, but there’s no level that’s super difficult, and is definitely easier than beating 60 levels on 3 lives

@@superragnol2972 Sky High and Master bumper models do not officially exist, they only do in custom romhacks. Perhaps if we somehow get a hold of a in-development version of Monkey Ball 1 we might find what they were supposed to be but I'm very doubtful of that possibility.
Criminally small amount of views on this video. I don't even know why the algorithm is recommending super monkey ball shit to me now, I haven't played the game since I was 16, but this video is very well put together.

It's funny you say that; because of the horrible anxiety I had when I was a kid, I actually HATED playing Monkey Target 🤣

And also the levels with the master background don't have bumpers, but I believe there is a texture made for it
And the Sky High levels, the ones with that weird castle in the background have a bumper model that isn't used
