Tatsuya can be the silent protagonist because he distanced himself after the trauma. Maya can't be silent and be positive at the same time, it doesn't work.
Just Monika Maya is distancing herself in Eternal Punishment, that's like her main problem, she doesn't know how to handle her memories and the stuff with Nyar, even seeming like a selfish stuck up to Ulala. And at the end her choice of leaving The Masked Circle alone is what takes to put at bay the end of the world.
Arsène Alucano Distancing herself? She's more disoriented with her sense of identity. She didn't become the big sister maya bc the Masked Circle didn't happen. She's still all-positive but doesn't open that much. But that concept didn't really work without dialogues. My opinion, of course.
I hope that Persona 6 is about the P2IS cast when they've grown up and stuff and have to reawaken to their personas by confronting their shadows but in this version their shadows aren't like P4's shadows where it's a manifestation of your darkest thoughts and stuff but instead is a manifestation of how people look at you and then they awaken by telling their shadow who they really are etc. and then they fight Nyarlathotep again but it's his actual form and he's huge. yk the Persona thing. Ofc i think they'd have to fix the nazi thing. I think the rumors would be a lot more normal in the start and then get darker as the game goes on.
