I’ve listened to this album entirely every day for the last week. It flows so smoothly and hits hard. I tend to community park maintenance daily and it keeps me motivated. Bless Spiritbox.
Just bought my first Spiritbox shirt!! Ever since I heard Holy Roller on a dont headbang challenge, I've been a fan since and I cant wait to see this band grow and eventually see them in concert
Such an amazing band. My absolute favorite right now, they’re big deftones fans which is my all time favorite, I hope if we get a DDLD they are on the bill..
Killer band - love them. Trying to do something new in heavy metal. As much as I love my classic thrash and death metal, for metal to stay relevant we need innovation and Spiritbox is doing that with their music.
This album that I wait for listening when I did listen all the songs, there are so incredible sounds and melodies. I very really like much more...and I will support you Courtney all the time.
SPIRITBOX es la mejor banda que pude escuchar desde mi adolescencia, que fue marcada para siempre con Slipknot, pero hoy en mi opinión es la mejor banda de metal que apareció en escena desde hace décadas
I've watched some of their live shows and noticed she often takes breaks whenever she can to drink water and spray her throat. She does this throughout playing their set. Then she mentioned she loved having a feature performance on one of the tracks because it gives her a break from all the vocals....putting all this together sounds a little concerning to me that her voice isn't strong enough to do this for very long. What can potentially happen is she can lose her voice and never get it back to how it was. Much like what happened to Corey Taylor. Of course Cory was CONSTANTLY doing vocals for years. Either recording or playing live, for 2 separate bands so that was bound to happen to him...but she's only in one band and just beginning her career and yet it seems like she's already having trouble. Something tells me her voice isn't strong enough to keep this up for long.
@@TheRickyp83 I said not starting out. As in, she's not just beginning her career. I understand your thoughts, but to me it looks like everything she's doing is preventative so she can continue well into the future.
@@primebreaker6628 I know she's not starting out. She was in IWABO but she's said in interviews that this is really the first time she's played live shows since then and that was like 5 or 6 years ago. So it's not like she's been doing this nonstop for years. But whatevs.
One of the most exciting bands to come around in a LONG time, Ive not been this captivated by a sound since I was in my early teens.
Yes, my exact feelings.
Absolutely. Last time I felt this way was listening to Around The Fur for the first time.

Her natural voice is deeper than I expected.
Agreed. Allows her to have crazy vocal range. Especially with her screams. She’s got skills to pay the bills
The summit is my favorite i think along with the title track.
Agreed on the summit!! The main riff sounds similar to one of my other fav bands. Great song
For me it’s Holy Roller and the Summit - both of them are great. Holy Roller is super heavy and violent. The Summit is more calm and with a hook.
Hurt You, Yellowjacket and We Live In A Strange World hits so different for me.
Love that song!!!
The Summit is my absolute favorite too, but all of 'em are great
Courtney is so damn adorable and beautiful. She can sing like a angel and scream like a demon. Love her and love the band! 🤘
Agreed
It was really nice to get the magazine,, thanks Spiritbox and Rock Sound!

Immediately you guys became a top band for me. The level of art and authenticy makes your music feel like much more than just another band.
Love this band! I cant wait to see you guys live!

Really awesome interview; great questions. And Courtney is lovely as always. Thanks!

This is album of the year I love it sm 💙💙
It's the hype that makes sure the album sells lots so the band can make another album.
Great interview 👏🏼 solid, well thought out questions and answers
She's so cool

The angel and the demon at the same time! Courtney! thank you for you voice! 🔥🔥🔥
Courtney Laplante, desde Argentina quiero decirte que te amo ♥
Love it!!
Courtney, tu canto de ángel me emocionó, pero tú demonio me atrapó, simplemente te amo

Sí, Spiritbox y Jinjer son las bandas que más han hecho en la escena del metal últimamente. Mis favoritas
Blessed be Eternal blue
Love her for real

am i crazy or did she say that her and mike have jobs outside of being in the band?
Yep lol they're regular people who love making music together
She's a babe.... If she were a president she'd be Babe-raham Lincoln
Whoa she have a deep voice no wonder she can growl
"Too much hype" giiiiiiiiiirl never.
Do Mike and her ever get a moment apart?
They’re married, play in the same band and work in the same job…
That must get annoying at some point…
Maybe they like each other
It can work for some people.

They're not starting out as musicians... a quick google search will give you more info.
@@primebreaker6628 ....what?? What are you talking about "starting as musicians"??
