    This looks like it'd be a really fun job. It feels like she could go quite a bit faster if it weren't for the fact she was ferrying folks from the campground or whatever that is to the park.

      She can go faster but considering we are pulling 8, 12 seater coaches we want to be as safe as possible :)

      @@blipusch I figured as much, Safety first after all! It just surprised me how little the throttle lever (Regulator I think it's called?) was open. It looked like the train was coasting for a good part of it, which shows just how efficient rail is.
      Then again, it's not just safety, but wear and tear you've got to worry about too. Not to mention all the extra coal and water you'd go through (and subsequent additional cleaning).

      @@DFX2KX Our railroad is like a roller coaster ride, it’s up then down then up then down. There is a lot of opening and shutting the throttle. But also very fun.

    What a great cab ride I wonder why they used a general signals electronic crossing bell instead of the Bells mounted on the signals at that crossing

    • @blipusch
      @blipusch  4 года назад +1

      TexasRailfan21 because it used to be a mechanical bell but it broke so they replaced it with an electric one
