I was a UBC student but I didn't attend class regularly, made little friends, and was very apathetic towards studying. As a result I couldn't fulfill my credits and had to withdraw from campus. Now I have a job at my home country and am happy with my life but I strongly regret that I spent a very mediocre uni life. To everyone who is and will study at UBC, please make the best out of your given environment and most importantly, please, please graduate. Cheers from Japan.
I am a ten years old I'm living in Indonesia so when i got older I would go here because I know English and I love Canada so much so when I got older I *Definitely* go there I will remember my *promise always*
UBC is certainly situated on a big campus. Totally loved my time there. It has grown so much since I graduated many, many years ago. Always a fantastic place to visit.
I live not to far from ubc and i went to this day camp in the summer with my friend and one time we went to ubc and we were doing this scavenger hunt and we had to run allllll around the campus and up and down that big path in the beginning. A lot of people enjoyed it but it was so tiring lmao
Hi! I was recently accepted into this school. The application process was cheaper than a lot of the other places I applied, so that’s a plus. I liked their application process- it involves a lot of writing about you, who u are, ur goals and stuff like that. The grades part appeared to be kinda on the side? If that makes sense?
cadderly yea that makes sense. I’m 12 and I really wanna go to UBC to study psychology. My grades aren’t the best but I hope to improve them in high school. Idk about you but my school district doesn’t have grades anymore. We have proficiency levels. Would it be harder to apply?
@@daisywang1872 not sure. But because of covid and how much it threw everyone off course, shouldn't be an issue! I applied with a 92 average, but then again I had an easy semester. I won't be graduating with any AP classes, so if anyone tells you how crucial ap classes are, they're lying. Just continue doing what you're good at, and don't feel like you need all those high level courses to be considered! They really look for personality and ur out-of-school hobbies, activities, and stuff like that :) I'll be making videos of UBC this fall and about the stuff I know
I’m 13, I would like to enrol to UBC, I have my friend who is gonna try to enrol VFS, which is only about 11 km away, we are gonna share a 1 bedroom apartment, I’m already saving for college and looking what jobs they offer. I might not be good at school, but I will do my best to try to get 120 credits, I already calculated the cost/per year. Which is $21,364+ and I want to be a psychiatrist because I love to help people and try to understand others. I would take the risk on making about $65 a day or about $123 a day. I am not a international student I live in Canada, and me and my friend are already looking at smart cars, because they are small and take up less gas. Either that or bike everywhere. I am also commuting to walk up to 700 football fields, and living off ramen noodles, lol. Also my favourite movie is “She’s the man”
You are surprised with 400 hactares. In our country India there are total 6 institutes which have area above 800 hactares and one of them is IIT KHARAGPUR
I went there with my class, I'm in 6th grad btw we went there for a hockey game and it wa very dark because it was the campus at Vancouver and it gets dark quickly in vancouver. My dream is to study in UBC one day
That’s cool. I’m in High School and if you want to go straight to UBC after High School, you need an 85% and up GPA. Other universities/colleges require less but UBC and SFU are high as heck.
And then she bused it down to Los Angeles, stayed at the Cecil Hotel (now called Stay on Main) and ended up floating nude in the rooftop water cistern. Hard luck.

You can find all the programs listed in their website, and their info
They don’t specifically have a graphic design program, try capilano university, Emily carr or even VIU on the island 👍
