Haha you maniac! :D Looking forward to every single one of them! Keep up the good work, i'm sure at the end of it you will have the most impressive VFX Reel every created. ;)

ahhhh, this song takes me back to the gold old days... when i was 5 in the 90's looking at cartoons of the time in the weekends..
+Wrekk Some of them are available on gumroad (for free) gumroad.com/luos But to be honest, some of them are what give me an "edge" and I currently dont feel its in my interest to share them. That said, I can always do a video showcasing some of them, and when I feel more comfortable, ill def give them away :)
really nice, but have 2 questions 1# how did you put the bw maps in there I only get only 1 color no grayscale in there? and 2# this beam map how can you create something like that or at least where could you get some ?
q1: you can use seperate RGB channels and use the grayscale from that channel. (I have explained this quite a few times before, I'd suggest to check out one of my "mesh based particle effect tutorial) q2: just think of a beam, and draw them :)
Hey, could you explain the functionality of your "Luos UV Liquidator" node? Was trying to figure out what it might do, but the inputs (normal maps) vs. the output (UV Coordinates) seems strange.
Couldn't you have used a beam emitter instead of meshes? Would be more flexible when switching out and adding additional targets, or am i mistaken? Will you share all those textures you are creating somewhere? Keep up the good work, it's interesting to watch how this develops :)
+Priareos I really dont like how the beam emitter looks, works, or is controlled. for variable lengths/bending/targeting beams its a good tool because meshes cant do it that easily.. but overall taken i find them very annoying to work with. so if i can, i'd always use meshes over the beam emitter.
any technique you pick up can be used ofcourse, that said.. this is rather old work and not everything is as optimal or as good looking as the content I'd put out now.
+Galathea Grimm RUclips has a slow down setting which comes close to a x2 speed. That said, I wont be doing anything like that, because some of the effects will take up to 8 hours to make. (and might spike up to 16 hours) It will be hell for me to upload that.
+DMC PLAY there are a few tutorials on my channel, which in theory are enough to get you doing what I am doing in these videos. if i have time though, i'll make new tutorials/tips/tricks videos.

same :)
A particle a day keeps the neutrons at bay.
damn neutrons! hope to soon continue with this project.
This deserves the views.
I mean all of them.
很喜欢你的教程,正在学习中,很感谢你
this deserves a sub good man
creating texture and effect are a whole job! i understand now lol why they needed 300 peoples to create GTA V lol.
Do you have a tutorial on your material functions, or could you by any chance show them? (Your Liquidator seems amazing. :))

+Lu os Ah, great! And yeah, I see what you mean. :) Thanks though!
looks really good.
how long did this take realtime to make? from concept to finished product? :)
Since he called it a particle a day, I'd guess one day? Lol
Where can I get that beam texture? or how to make it?
Its just a horizontal panning texture, with some creativity you can easily make one.
keep it up

+Nico Teetz I might explain it later, its basically texture coordinate manipulation on pixel level.
Lu os Thx, so the node just takes the RG values of the normal and adds them to the UV coordinate? Resulting in some kind of "wavy" effect?
sort of, but its also doing some panning etc.
+Lu os Sure, sure. Thanks!

not all hero wear a cape ! :) are they free for use on our game ? ( the technique i mean ! )

Hey just wondering how you made the wavy distorted texture? Because I can't seem to get that same type of look and mines turned out rubbish...
take a look at the noise thingy in the give-away playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLuqNhfvpWXRiyjQucgd-suSQxWo7pQoKu
The way this came out in the end reminds me of Nier Automata
SHHHH!!!!!!! i still need to play it, but no time :(
Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew
Please consider uploading x2 or normal speed.

LOL Crashed :D :D RIP..
RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE!!!!
man so awesome nice work keep up videos like these but can you make for us some tutorials to learn that would be awesome i subd

I want to watch slow version..this video is too fast
you can slow down the video with www.youtubeslow.com/
