However when i went to pokemon centers and shops, they had plenty of super electric breaker and less desirable sets. With the current market now though, it looks like it’s going to be rough for upcoming sets for sure 👍

it was a myth - i saw the price go down by 1-2000 yen, it’s now gone even higher to 14-15,000 it seems. i still think we can expect to see maybe 1-2 more reprints before the end of SV but we’ll see
Flying to Tokyo in 2 days, I want to aim for atleast 2 boxes of SV8a, but I dont really want to pay more than 10k Yen for it lol. Actually thinking about giving up on this set, does not seem to be worth the prices, and the effort to search for them. Do you have any recommendations interms of store locations for fair priced Boxed unsealed SV8a? I watched your last few videos and marked down some of the stores already.

i did the exact same with Crimson 🤣 managed to pull Perrin, Lana's Aid and Sinistcha SARs + Eevee AR but no Greninja. There are both pros and cons to boxes when they're very cheap! thanks for watching
you'll need a proxy address in Japan to ship the boxes there first. After that to ship from Japan to the UK usually costs between £30-60 depending on volume. You will also have to factor in customs duties. I usually ship in shipments of 4-5 boxes as that's below the customs threshold and that costs around £30-35 so it does add on the cost a bit - however the benefit of buying from Pokemon Center Japan is you have 100% peace of mind that the boxes are legit

it depends on your budget and whether you prefer to have many different cheap boxes or one expensive one! also if you do buy tag team boxes make sure to buy from the right person. personally i’m just observing for now. picked up 2 dragona and 2 crimson for retail/under retail. they should get reprints again though
i’m not sure i agree - easy 10s in Japanese and hard 10s in English is partly why the top SV chase cards in English are worth more! at least that’s how i see it!
