I've not had any Prismatic pre-orders cancelled yet but then I don't think it happens as much in the UK thankfully. Sucks for the people in the US. This market really is absurd. Even my dead products have shot up. Need to step up the selling this year to take some risk off the table.
@pokemonstatcg Ohh ok that's interesting. We never seem to get many booster bundles unfortunately. I managed to pre-order 2 and that was all I could find. 😂 Got plenty of ETB's thankfully.

Next year is lining up to being exciting for sure, focusing on what you can control is good advice for sure - especially people with super limited budgets it can be hard to keep up with new releases but usually there will be a way of staying involved even if it’s not having hundreds of the latest product!
Last video earned you a sub. Flying to tokyo day after tomorrow, looking forward to picking up some singles and hopefully a few boxes of the newest set SV8a(in japanese). I live in Hong Kong and I can actually get boxes of them here, but the prizes are through the roof. Been checking some videos and it seems like... Japan doesn't them in stock either?
@@156892 thanks for subbing! i think it’ll be tough to find in Japan at retail. When i went to Akihabara, some stores had boxes up for 7200 yen on release. However, with prices on the general market hitting 11,000+ i’d be surprised if those stores in Akibabara haven’t either raised their prices or sold out. You might find a few packs here and there but not likely for full boxes at retail. Good luck!
black and white sets while potentially interesting, nowhere near 151, surging or prismatic. Gen 5 has a cult but not big enough. I personally think gen 5 has the worst pokemon design of all gens so far

Every one has FoMO(reinforced by Content Creator). I think there will just be a point where there will be no interesst anymore. Like who pays that amount of money :D. If there was not a monitary gain to be made Pokemon would go back to beeing a Kids game. On the other hand I have just 0 interest in Pokemon, I really wanted to collect One Piece but there we have the same Problems + Bandai doing Bandai things
You can't really have one without the other. If Pokémon is a popular kids game then it will inevitably attract people trying to make a profit. The day there's no money to be made in Pokémon is the day it dies. Have you checked One Piece lately? The prices are very reasonable now.
@@BadaultFitness One Piece seems cheap now if you want to pick it up, but from my perspective, a lot of the adults in this space are just taking care of their inner child and i think that’s great, it’s just we have more money now then when we were kids!

seen a few booster bundle preorders get cancelled on tiktok shop but i agree generally the situation seems better here
