This movement is just what I have been looking for, this should be fun to apply. Feeling stable handstand walking, wanting to find balance and control. Perfect addition to wall holds. This should help in finding balance when pressing up from the floor.
Im in acro and ik how to do elboe stands and round offs and handsprings but i always had a problem with the balance handstand and when i watched this video im abt to do it and it gave me confident and it looks really simple
Fantastic tips! I need to remember to keep it slow moving. Just joined crossfit and my younger days of breakdancing gave me a little head start on skills. But always trying to "hit the beat" put a fast tempo on my handstand movements. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast, fast is easy. Thanks for the vids, they are quite helpful.
Nice tips. I know a very good gymnast who always goes into her handstand like this but I've always gone for straight up. Going to be giving it a try tonight.
Carl Paoli my handstands and shoulder mobility is terrible but working on it and using your book and videos it's been super helpful so getting there slowly. Thanks again, you are super direct and it's so refreshing please keep up the content!
hey Carl very informative and cool video!! I've a question for you: While you do an handstand do you suggest looking to the ground for balance? I dont care that much about a gymnastic perfect line handstand, I just want to balance on my hands and hold it.
Forwards meaning into a bridge? If so make sure the leg that is pointing in the same direction you are looking is always counterbalancing you until you get comfortable closing the legs into a full handstand.
You have fantastic balance. I was watching your hands while you balanced and almost no movement there. Respect.
