I have a 2015 GT model in pearl white, and I love it! Super dependable and well appointed. It is a bit small though, for a family of 4, especially if we want to take a trip. More cargo space in the back, rear AC vents, and a few more USB ports would have been awesome. Still very happy with my Outlander Sport and would recommend it to anyone!
I have a 2010 ASX and love it, hope Mitsubishi comes up with electric ASX and keep it a simple car as it is. Some people want all the bells and whistles, but to me the simplicity of ASX what makes it attractive. And hopefully if they do electric ASX, they will leave the physical buttons and toggles unlike in their airtrek which is all toucscreen. Overall, there is a market for cars like ASX, a small but spacious suv to go everywhere.
I have a 2020 mitsubishi asx exceed model here in the UK 🇬🇧 ...Absolutely love it ...mitsubishi has made a massive mistake in not selling cars to UK anymore 😕 😢
Very good review 👍.....covered everything. It is what it is, a small suv....we just purchased a 2020 VRX here in NZ, we don't have the GSR or the Exceed models here.
The ASX needs rear AC vents and USB ports on all it's trim,a digital readout on the dashcam, satnav and ALL new cars regardless of brand need to have a full size spare tyre; and a couple of thousand dollars cheaper on all ASX trim levels.
Yes I’d go the asx over the mg I’ve heard they have quite a few problems later on down the track, they have good warranty but not so pleasant when paying that much on a lemon. 🍋
love the auzzie accent - now i watch all my reviews on auzzieland channels. i have to assume this lady is not super tall...otherwise this car looks enormous. hopefully they dont scrap these vehicles with the new renault-mitsubishi asx built in spain if i hear correctly. i would hate to see the great reliability of these cars destroyed by changes in production. japan built cars kick as*. as i get older i look much more into production and history than vehicle options. many vehicles out there are crap...the asx/rvr is not one of them. mine is still awesome 11 years later. good visibility. great maneuverability. reliable. simple. im 6'4" and it has lots of head room. the tall kids complain in the back seats so everyone needs to adjust the seats. paddle shifters are great for the smaller engine - my 2012 has it. enough power with paddles. auto is slow from a stop. fold the back seats down and use a moving blanket to haul a lot of stuff. i haul 2x4s and plywood with mine when needed. $120 after market roof rack.
Well to think they are charging closet to $30,000 for the asx when a new shape came out in Europe last year and when Asia is releasing the XFC it's a bit rich to ok justify buying an old design like this
Ah the ASX. The car equivalent of canned asparagus. An ancient relic, dependable, incredibly uninteresting, and they'll probably still be selling it after the collapse of all civilization.
It's a 2.4 the old 4B12 been around forever and like grandpa's axe bullet proof will outlast humanity and on fuel usage at 9 . something is on average for a SUV the low compacity turbo eng with dct is roughly about the same eg MG zst Havel jollion and a few others in the euro range but with the 4b12 2.4 you can run on 91. And you don't need to be told which one will be more reliable long term
I think it’s a reasonably priced car in comparison to others, it might not have all the gadgets but if you a family on a budget it will serve its purpose. I’ve had one for 9 years and it has 325k on clock and has barley cost a dime to maintain. Peace of mind motoring if you ask me.
It makes sense, unlike you. This is still made in Japan, cheap to run and reliable without frivolities. If it were overpriced, fine, but it isn't and it also has a 10 year warranty. Better than a Chinese alternative or a Korean, which are now premium priced.
I don’t think a lot of people would want to buy the GSR but instead a base model. It’s quite compelling for only $25k. If you want just a vehicle then the ASX does what it does for a great price. You’re not going to be shooting any fireworks with this car but for most people a car is just a car
We have the 2012 ASX. It still drives like a new one. Can't justify buying a new car as the old one still works so well.
me too:) rvr for canada
I have the 2018 model and it's fantastic Car, no problems at all!
I agree I have a 2018 diesel model and have been really happy with it

ASX in Australia :)
You're such a pleasant reviewer! Love your demeanor and your sensible style, without being boring. Great review!

I doubt if they will introduce an electric version of that car, more like an all new model copied from another manufacturer.

I have a 2017 ASX Diamant and it runs like a truck so basic and always a good trusty friend i dont need all the bling bling

I'm certainly aware that it has a 2.4 petrol engine.
I would get the 2.4 GSR in that colour, pretty cool.
This is a good car. I'm glad Mitsubishi kept it than rather canceling it out for the Eclipse Cross.
Just ordered LS /color white last week. need to wait 6-8 month😅
Has it arrived yet? How's your experience?
Thanks, great review.
Great video
Good review Helen very succinct.
Super presentation 🎉
Beautiful car
I quite like the exterior , but man they really need to update the interior, it just looks so outdated compared to the other competitors
Looking at this or MG ZST. What do others think?
@Tania Boyd. Please get this Mitsubishi ASX! Get the 10yr 100,000mile warranty too! You won't be any happier. Don't get a "MG" aka Chinese car.
Not buying Chinese products if at all possible.
Yes I’d go the asx over the mg I’ve heard they have quite a few problems later on down the track, they have good warranty but not so pleasant when paying that much on a lemon. 🍋
Waiting to update my ASX to a full EV when it comes out...

If Mitsubishi would stop wasting time with crossovers and bring back a evo
yeah agree .. they should try to produce one (limited edition) at least .. to test the market for it ..
An ASX Evo with a 6 speed Manual, all wheel drive and 400HP would be nice.
Is this an rvr in USA?
Outlander Sport in USA
@@northyorksimonkim thanks

lol
much better than a over priced cheapily biuld toyota corolla cross.
I have been swayed from Toyota. We got an outlander looking to down size our kluger. Was looking at an MG ZST but now the asx may be a front runner
@@taniaboyd3435yes definitely the asx the mgs are 🍋
It doesn’t have line keep assist
Lane Change Assist and Departure Warning available on ES ADAS, LS, GSR and Exceed.
@@nessuno5403 but it doesn’t have lane keep assist even in 2022 outlander model it does have lane prevention and lane change assist
@@manikrishna7789 it does have Lane Change Assist. Where is Lane Keep Assist mentioned? And in what country are you?
GREAT PITY MITS DOESNT BRING IN THE BEAUTIFUL XFORCE (WITH A TURBO) THEY WOULD START SELLING A LOT OF CARS AGAIN AS NO ONE WILL BUY THIS OLD CAR
USB C , it looks like USB B ports to me.
The servicing costs of the ASX is a ripoff. It cost 40% more than it's rival brands. Potential ASX buyers beware.

engine 2 liter is garbage and costing too much for gazoline and its little bit slow ..turbo or wasting money

LOL, that's clearly not her arm.
@@corkeymonster I know (it's a running comment 😜), but you deserve cookies nonetheless! 🍪 🍪 🍪
Not sure why anyone would that pay sort of money on a 12 year old car. Time to replace / retire this and stop giving it facelifts.
