Well, they missed out on a huge opportunity. Make it your vacation home, go there and make a mountain to ski down, or a lake to play on. the only question is if you are wounded in the room and wish to heal, are you then unhealed in the real world?
Also, can you make time slower in the room, so you could get off a conference call, step in the room and enjoy a weekend in Paris before you get on your next call?
*Edit*
Hear me out on this one. Everything created in the room turns to ash/disappears once it leaves the house. So alcohol consumed when you walked out of the house would leave your blood. Ultimate party House.
Very interesting thoughts
Wow! Nobody would've thought about this!
That's what I was thinking. As a fantasy obsessed person, I'd turn the house into a castle and get a pet dragon.
If wish to be Isekaid lol

“Matt hasn’t watched enough movies”. Love that line.
👍👍😆 I agree, very apt humor!! What I thought is, uh-oh - - just like how a genie gives someone three wishes, yet it seems to always go very wrong/bad!! I sort of guessed that the baby was like the convicted killer - - who ‘murdered’ the previous house owners!! 😱

I would never buy a house without 1 looking how it looks in real life, 2 history of the house, 3 safety in the area and how close it is to the closest city or stores
Edit: so apparently people think I believe in supernatural shit but basically I'd see the house in real life both to make a mental image on how it would be living in the house and alsk to check if there is mold or any nasty shit
History is good to check because it can be good to know how old the house is because if it hasn't been renovated in a long time and have just been standing it can lead to mold that u can't see
Safety and how close it is to stores/cities should be obvious
Tbh people are stupid and probably lazy if they don't think about what kind of house you are getting
The sales person just wanna make money so they don't care about what you check for as long as they earn money
A sales person who gets frustrated if you check these things ain't very professional
I would hate to be your agent
Very true😊 im the same
Also if it is too far below expected market value. There is a good reason it is selling cheap.
Why one needs to know the history of the house?
In most places I'm pretty sure the landlord had to disclose if there was a death in the house
They mis-used the house. There were no real consequences to it other than whatever you wish for turning to ash outside the house. It's not a monkey's paw where terrible stuff happens. I would have wished for a computer, wished for stocks, or wished for a functioning debit card with thousands of dollars on it so I could buy non-wish stuff that wouldn't fade away. I'd carefully use wishes to become an online tycoon and make hundreds of thousands of dollars on the internet. Heck, I could even wish for knowledge of how to do so.
I would use the Room to simulate my own pocket universe that I could use to predict winning lotto ticket numbers and future stock market and crypto trends. Then go out into the real world and use the tips to make a lot of money. Then use the money to physically build a barrier around the house so no one from outside can ever get in. (Or use transport equipment to physically move the entire House to a secret hidden Base location, or even to underground). Then I would lock myself inside the Room and recreate my own universe to however I wanted, cloning all my friends and family so I wouldn't get lonely. I would be a God.
@@yogafrogz You could also use it to wish for knowledge of how to cure some of the biggest diseases. I mean, all the knowledge would go away the moment you left the house, but that doesn't mean you couldn't write it down. You could wish for maps to long-lost historical artifacts and then take a picture of it.
even the kid's attitude was a reseult of them raising him wrong
I think those electrical signal in the wire won't be able to leave the house
The irs
These two are quite an unimaginative couple...They could create universes of infinite possibilities..
but no the moment they realize they could create whole pocket universes, they do nothing with that revelation
They're normies.
Like the guy in Inception and his wife. It’s nice to control everything. But it’s not real. Reality is much more desirable despite being full of limitations and suffering.
Also if you live long enough and able to imagine anything into life, you will eventually imagine one life where you are now!
Yeah there's almost no consequences except making another living thing lol
@@radiantsquare007jrdeluxe9 pocket universes of material things are rather boring. And pocket universes with people are wildly unethical under the circumstances.
For the ending, the child belongs to Matt. Logically, it couldn't be Shane, as because of the established rules of the room, anything created by the room cannot leave the house unless the creator dies. She's still alive, so Shane's "seed" would have vanished as soon as she went outside.
But Shane died, just cause his creator isn't dead doesn't mean he can't have a son if he dies
@hihunter7 regardless since she didn't die he couldn't be established in the real world, any part of him, so just like him the seed would vanish.
Solid theory, but only the initial sperm cell would have been from Shane. After the cells start to replicate, they aren't part of him anymore. They'd have copies of his genetic code, but they're just that: Copies. Obviously this is fiction, so we don't know all the details of how the "rules" work, but it definitely seems possible that a person from the room could create offspring that could live out in the real world.
@@NoName-ik2dubro made it complicated for no reason smh the movie said items created by the room can't live in the outside world unless the creator dies😂 you're adding extra stuff to make something work
@@NoName-ik2du A single sperm cell would have been unmade in the second it took the girl to go outside and watch Shane's corpse decompose. The baby is Matt's.
The balance between making jokes and sticking to the story on this channel is impeccable
only you can live in that fortune house and live for 1000 years kid but you can never leave the house or you will die in minutes
this is stupid
1. if the house kept decreasing in value, why not just live in it as if the Room didn't exist? You don't *have* to indulge in the creepy room
2. the Room is actually very useful. It isn't so you can be materialistic. It's so you can CONSUME. What they did the first night was perfect -- you can consume champagne and caviar and 70 year old single malt scotch.
But it gets better. It can be the perfect hospital. You can wish the perfect drugs to cure any disease. You can wish for any lab equipment or reagents, as long as they get used INSIDE the room. There's nothing preventing a surgeon from wishing for the right tools, xrays, lab equipment and stuff to perform a surgery or procedure, then the person can leave. Only the stuff INSIDE can't leave, but anyone from the OUTSIDE can still go in and out.
Brothel. The Room could be the perfect brothel. Create some hot women or men that don't exist. Have your fun with them and leave entirely guilt-free. You could play out your worst kinks and no one would even judge you for it.
The best is -- information. No matter can be exchanged with the outside world, but information and entropy apparently is not a problem. Wish for a room full of generators, gasoline and 20 racks of A4000 mining chips, and start mining bitcoin. Your cards and your electricity is free, so you can hash those coins, and then take the INFORMATION into the outside world. Similarly, you could create an AWS competitor server and rent it out to universities and labs to do simulations. Once again, no matter has to be exchanged. Only information.
God what idiots
Actually, you are one of the idiots too. What they did in the first night are not perfect. Remember everyone that come out from the house became ash, if you somehow eat/drink something and its haven't come out from your body system, you would be having a lot ashes inside your body. That would be instant death.
Even if everything have come out from your body system, all the nutrition would be gone too from your body, you would be instantly became hungry/thirsty again, or worse, death if you come out from the house after a week of eat/drink the stuff from inside the room.
And its same too with drugs, the drugs would lost its effect after the patient get out from the house. Wishing for the lab only though, that would be perfect, as long they are still using real material.
And for the brothel, even from the wish for a child could lead into the child trying to kill the parent. A hot women or men would be able to do something like that too. Thats a very bad idea.
Too many negative mental associations and bad memories now with the room. Plus what if they had an errant thought or desire, making something unpleasant appear?
TLDR: The Room's wish-granting ability offers immense possibilities for advancement but also poses serious risks like loss of purpose and detachment from reality, making it a double-edged sword.
Remember that everything created by the room will turn to ash. If you consume only the food created by the room, your body will use it as building material. This might not matter over a few days, but what if you eat food from the room for years? After a few months, you won't turn to ash, but leaving the house could be fatal as many cells in your organs would turn to ash.
The same applies to certain medicines. Vaccines, which teach your immune system, would work since in that case, you are exchanging information and the vaccine itself doesn't need to stay in the body. However, if it's something that needs to remain in your body, like a transplant, leaving the house would also be fatal.
But I agree with you that they were foolish. The other points you mentioned are perfectly valid. And if you have no plans to leave the house, you can materialize anything. There's no need to go anywhere, so even eating food from the house would not be a problem.
One thing that isn't clear is transformations. The boy was a creation of the house, so I understand that he could transform his appearance, but what if someone wishes for a transformation on themselves? Would they then be trapped like the house's creations? I wouldn't risk that.
I would probably wish for a supercomputer that would help me predict the unseen consequences of future wishes, and then have a blast (responsibly).
There are some other ideas:
The Room could be used as a state-of-the-art laboratory for scientific research. Researchers could wish for rare or expensive equipment and materials to conduct experiments that are otherwise too costly or difficult to undertake. This could lead to breakthroughs in fields like physics, chemistry, or biology, as long as the research remains within the room.
The Room could be an ultimate educational tool, providing books, educational materials, or even interactive simulations for learning. It could be particularly useful in fields like medicine or engineering, where realistic models and simulations can significantly enhance learning.
The Room could simulate different environmental conditions, allowing scientists to study climate change, ecosystem interactions, or agricultural techniques in a controlled setting.
Transform the Room into a zero-gravity environment to conduct space research and experiments that are usually confined to space stations. This could revolutionize space science without the exorbitant costs of space travel.
Imagine if the Room could alter the perception of time. It could be used for rapid skill acquisition, language learning, or even as a way to 'fast-forward' through the development of long-term experiments.
...
But there is also a negative side: The unlimited wish-fulfillment offered by the Room, poses significant risks. It can lead to a loss of purpose and motivation, as challenges and goals become obsolete. There's a danger of escalating desires, pushing individuals towards more bizarre or extreme wishes. Such power can result in detachment from reality, weakening moral values. The instant gratification becomes addictive, stunting personal growth and resilience. Overindulgence may also impact physical health negatively, while the ease of fulfilling desires might lead to social isolation and ethical dilemmas, as the line between right and wrong blurs in a world where anything is possible without consequence.
@ I would wish to know all the information about the wishing tool and the rules of it. If it is possible, I would then copy and put ALL of the things from the world and the universe as well as all the factors from and of the universe that play a role in real life such as the continuously expanding universe, people's and all of the other living thing's memories, personalities, and traits stuffs like that. Basically, just the meaning of copy, but just to make sure the room knows so they aren't just NPCS inside the room. I also make only a section of that "world" wish able I guess if that's even a word. EASY!
Yeah, just wish something like a credit card with 10mil and just transfer the money and then toss the card outside. Bam, instant 10mil.
I'm so confused how he goes from a child to a grown man that somehow is obsessed with his mother and tries to assault her. Like that's a leap.
It was a very good thriller movie . The way story unfolds and we get to know about the secret of the room is really amazing . Olga has done a brilliant job and I just love her . The twist in the end had me surprisingly and was not predictable at all , which made this movie a real masterpiece.
What's that twist👀
@@mooramsravanireddy289 her wondering if the child is shane's or matts

@@mooramsravanireddy289 but they cut the recap short so u don't get to see the flicker
Wouldn't she be able to know immediately if it was Shane's?? I mean, 1) he didn't even seem close. And yes, that can still lead to pregnancy, but the odds are still just....up there.
But, most importantly: Shane never became real. Which means if the baby was his, even if half-real, it would grow and age at a faster rate than normal people.
Which means that by that "month later," if it was Shane's, she'd essentially be ready to give birth.
Or she could just terminate pregnancy and try for next time
@@1mol831 She could not. The movie even says that she had already had 2 miscarriages. Usually, even if it's an abortion, 3 will make a woman infertile.
@@getshwifty3101 not always. But if she is that worried, it is one of the options, as she doesn't plan on having kids anyways.
No because Shane died therefore whatever he creates even a baby could live outside of the room
@@WhosThisPersonNotMe That wouldn't work though, Shane wasn't a real person.
It said that the creator has to die for beings to become real.
Shane was never a real person, so his death wouldn't affect anything. Either way, she'd still have to be the one to die to make the baby entirely "real."
This was a good movie. If only the owners were more responsible with the powers. Imagine wishing for a data center to mine digital coins as a way to gain money in the real world.
I would wish for an exact duplicate of the real universe, then ask the Room to run time forwards to discover what the winning lotto numbers are for tomorrow or even to predict stock and crypto prices.
@@yogafrogz That's a whole new level of winning haha.
Lol
I would never wish for another living thing. Who knows where it came from?
@@Aaliyah_Matyevna I would, but not as a son/daughter or pet to keep. As an example, I would a horse to ride without having issues of feeding it and the cost and so on, or to maybe hunt some without killing the real stuff, or just to swim with a blue whale lol.
Interesting movie and cool plot twist at the end, but I just wish that they had used the room properly instead of rushing into things. My fridge, Desktop computer, Bed, furniture, etc don't ever leave my house but could still be a great purchase. They could've wished for a ton of different things to make a fortune from home while living happy and peaceful lives outside of the home
Wait could you do all your food sources with it too? Save a freaking lifetime's fortune on groceries that way. Could also stock up on toilet paper, medicine, the latest and most top of the line home entertainment, you name it. As long as you don't need it to exist outside the house you're good.
I will forecast one possible problem though. Eat food granted by the house, then immediately leave? Net zero gain. You'd likely retain none of it. So for free food you have to eat it and wait for it to go through your digestive system I guess? Unless we really monkey's paw it and say that even the already processed protein binding is revoked upon leaving and you end up instantly starving to death the moment you leave the house after a few days of only eating wish food, because then your body isn't allowed to actually retain any of it and is hit with a wave of days worth of LACK of vital energy?
@@getschwifty5537 imagine if you spend too long in the room eating the food and it replaces too much of your "material"
@@getschwifty5537 you could trial run it - spend one day eating wish food then go outside. If you're instantly super hungry then you'd know.
yeah. They could've even wished for an exact copy of their world for Shane to live in. They could've even used that room to go camping in. They could've live a perfectly normal and happy life within that world.

@@cyberssasin1575 This that you said may be true for you, probably for a lot of people too, it's your philosophy so it certainly applies to you, and probably for many people who think alike, but saying it's to everyone...
considering i'm not like that, that disproves that "everyone" part
the things i like most in life are the kinds of thing i like, because of what they ARE or because help/allow me to do something i want, not because of how i got it or not, or through effort or not at all
Independently if they are handed as a gift or fought for
What matters is having them for what i want
If i can't have it handed, i will find some way to get what i want in any way, so i will have to fight for it then... and i will find any way to get to what i want
But if someone hands it, to me, i'm more than happy
It's glorious to me, It saved my energy, my time, which will allow me to focus/do other things, including things i wanted to do with whatever it was
It's a gift, and i'm always thankful for it
I'm probably actually happier with a gift, since also there's reasons to be thankful for too
I get you can take pride on being able to get it through a harder way...
But you also can take pride on being liked (to get that gift) or being waaay smarter in taking the easist and faster route if you have the option ;)
There's only one thing in life to me in which the way in which i get it matters to me
Love
But that gift logic still applies
In fact, i will not accept to be in a relashionship with anyone in life, if not be through that way
(the other person makes the first move, she makes all the moves, and i just may accept it if it doesn't do anything i don't like through the way)
I wanna feel desired, a prize, not merely accepted if fight a lot to prove my worth... as if i didn't had any to start with... just thinking about that disgusts me, i'd rather leave that completely to the other person, one that actually likes to play like that, and takes pride on going through that kind of paper
And i will only love someone, if it starts through that way
It's a responsive love, only as an answer
If i make a move, it will be with interest in something else, and only doing that as a path, not from love
Real love, to me/from me, only through that other way
So, in summary, for me that doesn't apply, what matters for me is the thing itself, not how i get to it, so that everyone logic doesn't apply to me
And for me thankfulness is a big factor, and i love being gifted
And it doesn't matter for me if i have no "purpose" to someone else as in what you said, what matters is if if i have to me, and for me what matters is having what i want
I agree with clover about that saying of people using that to manipulate people that their value is based on their work...
Well, not hard to be noticed that they are the ones who work the least?
Or at least certainly not the hardest as they profess...
Having passive income from the profit of other's work and probably like in most cases inherited a good part of it (or all), or at least that's very thing that gave them an opportunity to do whatever growth they did on top of it, to kickstart it all and give both the safety net and base for whatever else they wanted
That's logic of he who wants to be exploited, and proud of it
Or manipulate others to do it with ease (they do it by themselves and take pride on it) and without rebellion while you do the opposite
Loophole idea: Since the items they wish for stay if the wish maker dies, can’t you just wish for a living organism (doesn’t have to be human) that can talk to wish for a million dollars then make the living organism die so you can keep the money? Tell me why this wouldn’t work.
Because it's inhuman. If you can't bring yourself to kill a puppy, how can you bring yourself to kill a sentient being that can communicate and be intelligent, so they understand what you want them to wish for?
Not to mention that every intelligent, communicative being would have their own free will, so why would they listen to you? Unless you make them a baby, and raise them yourself, but even then, you need to brainwash them, and then you need to kill them. I think only a psycho can manage this.
Yeah they can wish for a parrot they can talk and make the bird wish for a couple of milion dollars. And after that kil the bird

It's good that Shane turns bad so it's less sad for the couple to get rid of him.
There's a cheat to this. One thing that the room cannot seem to evaporate is Information. They could have the answers to absolutely anything. They could have data that's priceless, sell it outside, and keep the materialistic riches outside the house.
The goal is to not think of the room as an item genie, but as a knowledge vault.
Nah, it probably just creates it based on what the creator thinks it will be. It's more like how in a lucid dream, you can ask for the secrets of the universe, but it just spits back whatever your subconscious thinks.
the wish of any married man caught me off guard LMFAO
Why does Shane has still the mind of a child when he went outside, but not the mind of a baby from previous time - no movie logic here
he said he was homeschooled, so he had reached a child's mind in the home
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it was an assumption made by the summarizer, or it was just a poor way to explain that Shane was emotionally immature (which is reasonable, he doesn't have very many life experiences up to that point).
Thanks for a dark thriller. "Matt really doesn't watch enough movies"
They could probably also wish for cures to cancer infertility or other things then just take the picture of those things how it's made and everything and then just send it to people around the world or just invite geniuses to the house to learn from it
means if one is in that room you don't need to wish cash, rather wish for your bank balance to be loaded
You know it's not fine when they say "It's just fine"
Yeah they don't watch enough movies...
Is it really this common to buy houses you never even visited before or is this just a movie thing?
The house would be perfect for research, you might not be able to take anything created inside but knowledge learn is your own.

Theory solved they left the house so if the child is Shane’s it can not exist outside of it
Yeah Shane's sperm and any genetic info it imparted to her egg would've died. That means she's just pregnant, which isn't a real twist. I think they're both still in the Room.

It appears that inside the room, you could fit UNLIMITED stuff. Essentially, it is a UNIVERSE they could have created.
And there would never be a need to leave the room because the room is a universe.
Likewise, their real life could just be in another house in an endless loop of magic rooms -> magic rooms -> magic rooms all created by people with imagination.
This room symbolizes imagination. Imagination when kept secret, is protected and preserved. When you take it to the real world, it will die and decay because your ideas don't follow the existing laws of physics or other people crush your dreams/imagination/hopes, etc

"Up and down are terms we use to describe our relationship with objects that are having a significant gravitational effect on us (ie Earth). Therefore, whether the universe is the right way up or not is decided by the laws of physics at any given location, and who are we to argue with that?”
You know exactly what I mean so how bout you stop being a patronizing pos and just accept that nobody knows how we got here and nobody knows, or gives a shit if the universe has a top or bottom 🤓🤡

The ultimate nightmare for a married man: residing in an undesirable house, estranged from a disinterested wife, unable to leave without disintegration, if you try and leave the money turns to dust, all while she becomes pregnant by another man. A tale of trying to hold it together and emerge as the hero.
I hope for a part 2 of that movie!
I don't care how much booze you've had, 3:04 is the proper reaction to a bottle of booze appearing out of literal nowhere 😂
>Wish for a debit card with unlimited funds and no daily limits
>Wish for a laptop
>Use the card and the laptop to shop online and buy whatever you want, having it shipped to the house
>Use the card to pay for IVF or adoption fees
>Never remove the laptop nor debit card from the house
Congratulations, now you've circumvented the rules and get to have/keep everything you ever wanted, free from the worry of it disintegrating.
Why do you want to order when you can just wish for
Income tax be knocking the door
@@JamesSmith-kr1hf Because anything the room produces disintegrates when it goes outside the house. For example, if you wished for a car, you'd never be able to drive it. But wish for a debit card and you can pay for one online.
@@sixrats perfect. Just need unlimited debit card, the best internet provider, and cheap laptop. And everything will be perfect for the rest of their life. If they can play smart
You cannot use the Debit card outside. Outiside its value will be 0
bro if such room exist, ill never leave.
Dude your house grants infinite wishes. How are you depressed? I'm kind of a homebody so I'd love this. I just wouldn't be an idiot and use the room to create life.
this took the RealMatt into a whole another level
When she saw the pregnancy test
I was like yeah so it’s a good ending
The narrator: it’s might be Shane child
Me: 😐
those wall paper guys really do good work to cover that door... LOL
Wow this film is so rich, litterally and yeah i need to see it right now thanks for the intel, i'm subscribing !
since things taken out age and wither rather than just disappear they should have gotten something like diamonds.
Wait, this seems familiar. Wasn't this movie recapped before? Something like 'Anything thought is created in this room'or something?
It was! I saw it here before. And this channel has been recycling the same video time to time. But it is weird why almost no one notice it. I even started to believe that it may be mandella effect. lmao
Your not the only one I felt like I saw this too before. Maybe it could be a Mandela effect
@@royorellano wasn’t the first ine done by AI?
Yep. I saw it too. I thought I was from a different recap channel but now that you mention yeah it was probably this one.
Yep seen this before. In the end the lights blink or something
me while watching this episode of myster recapped: "hahaha what a story, Mark"
dude actually imagine being born that way, by a machine and then knowing you can never leave the house, like never you cant go out to the world or you'll die from aging and to dust in seconds like man, thats dark, but at least you can have whatever you want, you're a hild, you want the biggest and coolest toys you see on the tv, you have the best room a child can wish for with every kid's dream and now your a teenager, you are a gamer, you can get the best pc ever, you can get the best monitor, chair, keyboard, mouse everything, you can wish for 100s of ps5, xbox's, switches, now your a young adult, you wish for love, a partner you wish for freinds to hang with around the house, you wish for a big 8k tv and a big comfy sofa for you and your friends to watch football or something idk
if i was in that situation, id just go outside and be done with it tbh
Couldn't they wish for objects that do not age when outside the house?
Nope!
So... we might be ALL living inside one room
"The man takes out an _expensive_ painting" 0:11
The man literally took out the self-portrait of Vincent Van Gough 😅😭😭
Y’all are forgetting the plot! If the creator of something dies then the creation can live outside the house. If it’s Shane’s sperm and then he died, his sperm would live on.
Thought this was Constantine.
Did the realtor tell them about the mysterious room before they moved in??😲 What? She asked for a baby in the room, while Mike was out walking??
This was good!
Why would Kate get confused if the child is Matt's or Shane's. Obviously its Matt's since the Kate Shane forced into was only a clone. 🤨
He could have spent time with Kate by spending time with the child
4:00 why don't they wish to know how everything works? Lol.
That thumb nail pic is from the movie Constantine??
"the creepy kid" 😂
All materialistic wishes?! I’d get to test all the toys I want before making an online purchase to see if the price is worth it or not!
And is it truly anything? What about mythological or extinct creatures? Would extinct creatures appear as they actually did or as we think they did?
Also you could get some pretty cool shots using the decay thing.
You can create other worlds within the room? How big? Is it only limited by one’s imagination? Because I have created worlds before, in my head, on paper, and in writing, and if I could bring those worlds, that universe to life…
I’d no longer have any need for this world.
When you drink or eat something in the room, and venture outside of the house.. what happens to your body? does all that food you eat just turn to dust or ash in your stomach?
the more you eat things made inside the room, the more of it got digested and absorbed into your body, the more you become the room's creation, and you will turn into ash if you leave the house.
Wow, real life really can be stranger than fiction.
Couldn't you make a $1 Million check appear, and use an online banking app to take a picture of it and have the funds deposited into your account so you could then leave the house with the money?
What if you wish for a super computer with its own smart aI to help you steal money from evil rich people and you can have it without them ever knowing what happened ? Since it’s all digital it can’t age , or why not think of a magical item that can never age and is so potent that it can never rust and it allows the user to never age so long as they wear it or wish for a human male doesn’t never ages unless he uses his super powers to age ?
