- Hi Everyone,
Ash just completed fitting a hitch to this brand new, fully loaded UK Ford Ranger Wildtrak. It's a case of beauty and the beast with this truck - lovely looking and with enough power and grunt to make light work of pulling the Ultralite Rockwood 5th wheels that we sell in the UK.
Paul gives you the tour of this powerful workhorse, while Ash man-handles a Rockwood around the site with ease.

Power 237bhp, Torque 443lb ft
10 speed automatic
6.5 tonne train weight
Well rated around the workplace at CCRV, and while testing the hitch install it's pretty safe to say Ash fell in love with this new Ranger. You'll spot Ash eyeballing the Wildtrak as a bonus from the boss... There's always hope I suppose!

Hi Paul, top video as usual. We will be looking at the new Ranger in due course to replace the Navara. Now that you have had it a while are you still running with the sport bar or have you removed it to increase turning angle? If you have, have you managed a clean removal? Thanks John
Hi John, yes, the sports bar has to be removed when you’re towing and manoeuvering it comes easy just a few bolts. Thanks for keeping in touch. See you soon Paul

Hello. We're tentatively interested in fifth wheels, and have watched lots of your videos. Just wondering if you could make sense of all the different models for me. Lots of numbers and letters that don't seem to have obvious meanings. Do hope to come to have a look at your stock which I realise will help explain this, but in the meantime a written explanation would be appreciated. Many thanks, Neil Slater
@@neilslater9854 hi Neil I can’t really work it out myself all I know is BH means Bunkhouse WS means wardrobe slide RL means real lounge. The numbers don’t really relate to length or anything for instance of 28. RL is actually 30 feet long fibreglass to fibreglass maybe that internal measurement, but you would be better off come and see us, and we can try and work it out together all the best, Paul

Not really sure the customer had it fitted from New. I do think a quick search on the Internet you could find it easily. I will Ask him and POST in the next video. Thanks for following the channel all the best, Paul
Brilliant looking vehicle....is it enough to prize me away from my V6 Discovery 4 (what that old thing I hear you say🤣). If I had a 5th Wheel then I'd need to think about changing. Not sure the wife buy's into swapping caravan for 5th wheel and requiring a pickup style vehicle. I think thats what puts her off. Oh and buy the way, before you say ignore the mrs......she's buying🤣 not me!

@@CCRVUK currently staying on a site in Walton on Thames visiting London. Soon taking a road trip to northern Spain towing our Buccaneer (with said Disco 4) to a site close to Sant Per Pescador, Girona. But next time we get out to Suffolk I’d love to call in. Always watch the videos on your RV’s, but wife is always the sticking point😂….they’re too large……you need a pickup truck…..will the sites accommodate one…..nag nag nag……etc😂
