This video was just so much fun to do.. I really learned more than I thought I ever would about various styles, I hope during this video I'm able to help you learn the quirks of your favourite styles.
I look forward to reading the comments today and finding out which of these were your favourite, whether you agreed with my interpretations or not. I welcome criticism as I can only learn from it.
Today I used various Markers from my Arteza EverBlend set aswell as my Pro/Brushmarkers.

The D.C. one is great, I can imagine some gritty back story, “Doctor Robotnik took away his only friends, now he must work alone to defend the world from his robotic creations”

But other than that, I could definitely see Flash messing with the Speed Force and mucking things up again.

Edit: the dragonball style was pretty good. Not what I'd imagined but it came out really well. Although my favorite now would be the DC comic style. Love those details and darkness behind it just a shame that ADC hid the hair lol.

Every single drawing there resembles perfectly the style you were going for. Very cool video. Artistically speaking, i think everyone can agree that dc sonic was very good, and an amazing display of your abilities. Otherwise every drawing was perfect for me

Firstly, congratulations. This challenge was an excelent idea and I would love to see more of this. Now many are amazing but were plain bad, Power Puff Girls style lacks the emotions that the PPG transmit with that simplistic design, and Dragon Ball in general looks well but the hair looks like a wig, as if it was attached over to the head. And Batman was amazing.
I am looking forward to the DC Comics and Chibi style. :) My favorite is the Baby Sonic.

1. Original
2.Mickey Mouse/ 1930 style
3.Power puff & Baby Sonic
4.Simpsons, chibi and "Dagon Ball" Style
I love the 1920's, Mickey Mouse version the best! They just mix so well! :D
Well, Sonic is based on Mickey and Felix the cat so it makes sense
My favorite was the Steamboat Willie one, so cute. For the South Park one you could have used Mickey Mouse cameo in the show as a guide. This way you can see how they turned a classic cartoon into their style

I like both the Original Sonic X Style one, & the Classic Disney Style one, too.

3:11 it was from 1929 or 1930 bc mickey first apperience was in crazy plain in the year 1923 if I remember

To be honest, they're all great in their own matter. But if I had to choose an alternate Sonic, I'd choose 1920's cartoon style because it's very clean and no need for additional colors 😃.

This is the best drawing characters in different styles video on RUclips because you didn’t draw the character as a character from a different show/film. You actually took the characteristics from each style and implemented it into drawing instead of mixing sonic and a character from a different show/film

I’m the only one that noticed that the Disney sonic didn’t color his other arm
I noticed and i was confused
In 1930 it was animated in only black ink, so the animators had to leave blank parts so that they do not camouflage with the rest of the body (that's why the classic characters wear white gloves)

edit: after watching the whole video I've got to say that I liked the Dragon ball one the best. It was so cool how you did it and how you gave him a kind of karate suit on.

I'm so glad you made this video. I can't count how many times I have seen another youtuber making videos titled "X Character in 10 different styles" and yet all they do is your example of what you AREN'T going to do (Insert character with challenge character's hair/clothes). I'm really glad you actually took time to mimic the style of the character you were drawing Sonic in. While some of them came out kind of off (The South Park and Simpsons Sonic are kind of weak imo) at least you tried your best to replicate the series you were drawing. The Steam Boat Willy and Tim Burton ones were my favorites. I do hope you return to this drawing challenge with different characters. Seeing you do a Goku or Batman with this challenge would be really cool.

The rain effect on the Jim lee was super cool. I think he does that the best, and you nailed his style in that little piece
I really like the 1920's one. It looks like Sonic, but also a bit like Mickey Mouse. And I love the way Mickey looks, and how Sonic the Hedgehog looks.
I was excited for DC Comics
Edit: I liked the DC Comics one the most. One of the changes I would've made it to darken the background and to shine the eyes in gold to have it more highlighted. It would also give an reminder that this is Sonic because gold in the sonic universe could represent Super Sonic or the Gold Rings Sonic collects. It would also bring the "they're ready to battle" vibe that I like for most super hero comics and it has been used for many Justice League cover art before.

Fun fact. In Sonic CD, there’s a secret sound test menu, and if you enter a specific code, a different thing would show up. One of those things was a piece of art that served as an homage to Batman which showed Sonic as, well, Batman.

Edit:Watching I agreed with most of your comments about the different style you didn't like that much. But I must say the Powerpuff girls one was not that bad.
My new favorite was the DC and Chibi style
I can't pick one, I didn't fancy the South Park or Simpsons ones though, they just seemed off to me.
For the D.C. one, I was hoping it would have had the ears going backwards similar to his spikes, and think a large spike in the middle (or some mediumish ones) would have been an amazing touch.
Loved your video though, I used it when my daughter asked why animals were drawn differently in one of her books to show her examples of different drawing styles.
In general, I think most of the reason I don't like certain designs as much as others. Is probably the perspective of the heads and bodies, the dragon ball sonic's spikes look squashed against the head and the ear is rotated away even though the face is facing that way. The power puff girls design looks a tad bit too simple and un-sonic-like, as if the spikes were drawn over an outline to look like hair.
I would like to see your designs fine-tuned to look more like sonic, maybe you could sketch multiple renditions on a full piece of paper? The rectangle format really limits the creative space for each, in my opinion at least.

Even though you hated it, I think the Simpsons Sonic is one of my favorites. You actually did a really good job with the rounded shapes and the classic zany Simpsons eyes. Nice work, they’re all great!!
