Am I missing something? There's no way the vibrating length of the strings is changing, it doesn't even look like the strings are vibrating. I think you can hear the bow sliding across the flat strings too. I'm pretty sure the music is just coming from the same source as the piano, and the bow is simply moving in response to the changing notes via midi, which is still cool in itself.
The sound of the violin is actually produced by an electric transducer inside the instrument, which resonates the body like the strings would normaly do while playing, so that it seems to play itself. The bow is just for show purpose; technically it`s a fancy speaker with a special control system.
@@musikautomatenfan3662 Ah cool. I know that performances including a solo electronic instrument and an orchestra will affix a wooden plate to the soloist's speaker to mellow out the tone and let it blend better with the orchestra. So here we apply the transfer function of the violin body to our sound!

Damm that's cool!
Self playing violin - no
Speaker with a program and a few motors - yes
But cool
What’s that dragon in the background?
Looks like the ones in DreamFactory.. 🤔🤔
I am very certain that is some sort of robot to mimic крокодил Гена (crocodile Gena) from popular Soviet cartoon cheburashka
