Really enjoyed that! Thanks for dealing with the headband GoPro. ;) Doesn’t look hard. Just fiddily and tight. Plus…remembering where the bolts and washers go. Great vid!
You are a Machine, Dan. You make it look so easy (although your comment at the beginning is fair, that without the transmission it makes it easier... LOL). If you ever do the same on a 360, that would be great as I understand that getting the front part of the gasket seated on the head is an absolute pain.
Dan, are the sparkplug threads aluminum or steel inserts? Also, is there room to use an inspection mirror to see the front of the valve cover basket? Are you doing a new clutch too?
Brought back memories when you were wrenching on your 430 back at your old home. Great throwback to the olden days.
Nice.
Thanks for doing the POV wrenching. So much better.
You bet
Awesome video Dan. Thank you. Definetly enjoyed it and brought back memories of the beginnings of the channel. Keep them coming
Thanks! Will do!

It's not terribly hard when the transmission is gone. 😁
Good video. I appreciated the FPV. It did allow us to see more of the actual work..
Thanks!
I’m feeling your back and you just started.😮
Yeah that was the worst part
Really cool seeing my car on here after following this account for years. Now I wish I had done the headers…. 😂
Haha it's not too late
Great video again, Dan. Would really appreciate some 360 convertible top videos, in sorting out issues that present.
I wouldn't bank on us doing those anytime soon
Dan you like that power ratchet. See you use it all the time

Yeah, the 360 is a totally different design. Not as much fun.
Nice job Dan! That engine bay is filthy.
Yes it is
After you put a little of glue under the valve cover gasket you can flip the cover on a flat surface to let the gasket seal without it popping out.
It's not totally flat with those half-moons
Would love to see the CV boot replacement. Zip tie a laser pointer to your GoPro so you know where the camera is pointing 😊
LOL that's not a bad idea actually.
He shoulda had you send out the intake manifold to get powder coated, that gray spot has my OCD in overdrive 😁
Yeah.... The good news is that's pretty easy to do anytime.
Another great wrenching video Well done!
Thanks for watching
Good lord, no way. Very cool
Thanks!
The gunt on the gasket is mold release during manufacturing
Yeah, that's right.
Dans a madman spraying brake clean with 2 Ferraris a lambo and some exotics seats within spitting distance.
It's fine.

I don't know about the plugs. Yes, we're doing the clutch and other components as well.
I am surprised that you don't check the gap on the plugs as you put them in.
They are fine. They come pre gapped
Don't forget fuel lines they go up in smoke
They can.
When I’m not mistaking, you damaged the valve covers red paint while getting the hose clamp off.
Ok?
☝
Thanks!
Surprised has the stock headers
Next project
Classic F430. Red Paint peeling off the top covers. Ferrari bought some poor quality materials in the 2000s.
Yup
Step One: remove rear end bodywork and bumper, exhaust and transmission.
LOL! Only if you want it to be easier.
Why doug its not doing the work
Who's Doug?
do you want to do mine in my California? I'll donate my car to be your guinea pig.... :)
Nooooooob thank you. Lol
