@@NURKFPV yeah anything bigger than 70% screen size was too much for me. I feel the bigger image is too much information. One more thing, I hooked mine to a immersion gtoundstation and the switching algorithm was too slow and in turn represented itself as frames loss, whereas the same didn't happen on rapidfire.
Awesome video! I'm thinking I'll print up a little box to put a rapidfire reciever into and "side mount," or attach it to the side strap of the dji googles. That way, it'll be one unit to take to the field and I don't have to void the warranty.
I think that the NTSC de-interlacing doesn't work on the DJI googles because the text from the OSD is jumping up and down. The analog image quality would be much better if de-interlacing would work properly.
thanks for the update video - DO you know if the NewBeeDrone Infinity30 F4 Flight Controllers wiring harness to the ESC matches up with the Hobbywing Xrotor ESC?
This is the first time I've ever minded the Eagle sharpness over-tune shimmer effect - it's always there and noticeable, but somehow with the higher bitrate through the DVR, I was just seeing it a lot. Interesting... Wasn't as noticeable through the FS DVR, but I don't actually know why. The way clearview does the interlace voting can sometimes do that, but it didn't seem like the only causal reason. I think there's still tons of utility in somebody starting out being able to get DJI for FPV, slap an Eachine/Achilles module on for flying whoops and toothpick setups, but anything larger & heavier get the HD experience. For most pilots, that's just a great setup overall.
When you do the mod I recommend installing a inline power switch so when you fly digital your anilog modular is not always on and you can use it on your computer for sims
