Fellow YouTubing, homeschooling, big family! I love that you do read aloud. It’s a habit our kids LOVE! Our eldest two(one of which is now graduated) still read to their younger siblings almost every night.😴
We used HOD for two years and I used it as a springboard to a more true CM curriculum. We have used A Gentle Feast for four years and LOVE it! I highly recommend.
Oh my gosh, Ava in the sprinkler. So cute! I love how you explained the balancing of homeschooling with having littles around. You do such a great job with that.
Just loved this video!! The garden no-dig beds and compost bins are so neat! Ava and Ezra are so cute and funny with the sprinkler! 😂 Enjoyed this so much 🪴 Beautiful piano playing, Leah 🎶
Loved seeing this peek into your days. Noah & Leah have gotten SO tall! All of your children are so precious....the babies at the end playing in the sprinkler was so adorable. Ava is so verbal! I couldn't believe it when she said clear as day "peanut butter"!
That Explorers book looks really neat. I need to check that out. You have a sweet family. We are doing US History mini unit in the fall!!! Looking forward to it. :)
I love your videos. Couple questions. I missed where you said you get your book lists for each unit? Do you just use the GR unit list? Also, can you list somewhere your favorite for each unit you’ve done? Also, what/how do you teach your little ones to use and also doing a together curriculum like GR?
Hi thank you for the questions. I use the GR book lists and then add other titles of my choosing. You can check out my plan and prep videos where I share all the books I select for each unit. As far as my littles, I try to balance keeping them busy with other things while we do homeschool and including them on certain subjects (for example read alouds, morning basket, sensory play). This changes from unit to unit and day to day.
Hi i noticed that you werent eating when the kids were eating breakfast, so when do you breakfast?? Do you wake up before your kids and eat before them ?? What time do you wake up, what time do they wake up??
So I wake up at 6. The kids wake up around 730. I do not eat breakfast, I do intermittent fasting, so I typically just drink black coffee and water until lunch (something I wouldn’t recommend without talking to your doctor first!).
Yes i have made it with GF pasta and it definitely works (you might have to adjust the cooking time though). Subbing chicken and Alfredo sauce sounds interesting. I’m definitely going to have to experiment!

I love that magnet idea. I’m always looking for ways to keep my tot busy while we school

Aww thanks! Yes Noah and Leah both grew several sizes this year! Ava is just a little parrot these days - repeating everything she hears

I am very interested in reading "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" I have heard it is a good book.
We’re about halfway through and have absolutely loved it!
I want your shirt! I was born in Ohio but moved to GA when I was 7 😊
Aww thanks! It is from Homage.

@@EverydayHomeschooler thanks:)
Would your spaghetti and meatball casssrole work with gluten free noodles and alfredo sauce with chicken chunks?
