I love your channel. I have low porosity type 4 hair and I wanted to love the honey hydration leave in. I can't use it because no matter what I do my hair won't absorb it. Sucks because it smells amazing.

Didn't read the full email but that was the gist I believe Definitely try out the oyin hair dew when you can! I'm the same way with leave ins and love it! The CR honey failed with my kkcc which is my staple styler so far so I'm super sad it didn't work out. I may see how it is just to moisturize my hair under a wig.
My hair does NOT like honey!! Girl I made a raw honey hair mask and it made my hair hard like I did a protein treatment!!! That honey leave in made my hair feel the exact same way!! 😩😩😩

So glad you liked the kinky kurly. That's my staple clarifier. Got me some NLS banana leave in, the gel, and the irish moss on sale. I didn't get the shampoo because I bought a mane choice one I am loving so far. I'm afraid cause a few people have said the irish moss flaked on them. Worst comes to worse, I'll use to moisturize when I wear wigs. I'm buying the ecoslay marmalade gel and the deep conditioner for the sale. For some reason, the royal argan from shescentit ain't doing it for me. Definitely plan on trying the uncle funky's at some point and both of the camille rose ones you mentioned late if they don't have a sale.
The hair dew is legit an obsession. Everything else has not lived up to it yet and I've tried A LOT. The juices and berries is lit too, I don't normally like glycerin but something about the formula works for me
@@rynd9974 I use consistently the Honey Hemp Conditioner , the Hair Dew, and Juices and Berries when I say that spray brings my hair back especially when I have braids in. There is a few others I have used but I keep my products simple and maybe add a butter oil is always in there. Me and stylers are just not friends ever LOL

I'm trying a bunch of stuff, but I feel like my staples are only going to be 3-4 products most per step of the hair process outside of deep conditioners. I only like 2 or 3 shampoos and the hair dew for a leave in and the juices and berries as a refresher so far. I'm hoping to enjoy some of my black friday buys of course. Other than that, I'm fine with not being a product junkie, just having my staple products that work and using them all the time versus experimenting constantly. Good to know about juices and berries cause I'm getting sengalese twists for Christmas and I was wondering what I should spray in them to keep my hair moisturized!
@@rynd9974 My Cleanser and Co Wash/ Conditioner are from www.hennasooq.com they are Ayurvedic and I use Ayurvedic masks, I use the Honey Hemp as my DC if needed after, and is my Leave in, the Hair Dew is my moisture , and I use the juices and berries as my additional liquid and refresher and I oil my scalp and hair and will use butters as the temp changes or as a styler for twist and braids and I have found finally simple was best. I always advocate for people to learn and then LISTEN to their hair. Make wash day as much about you as it is your hair. I started Ayurvedic for my hair so I had a set time to take care of me. Having to leave the masks in for 1 to 2 hours for best results made me sit my butt down. So now it’s a self care day and I have my favorite drink ready and I don’t do anything that isn’t just me relaxing * movie, reading, watching RUclips, favorite show, what have you it’s about me. The bulk of the time is the mask , it doesn’t take me long to wash and then co wash the mask out. Put my basic products in after. That shift in how I look at it made such a difference and my hair is happier for it....
@@danafisher8613 Yeah I'm definitely taking my natural hair journey more seriously now and paying attention to what works. It cut down my to try list significantly when I realized that my hair specifically loves aloe vera juice, silk amino acids, honey, BTMS and some other ones. Ironically my hair is the opposite , paying attention is what made me realize my hair hates shea butter and glycerin no matter the formulation or where it is on the list, which is in most natural hair products. I'm about to try the almond jai twisting butter from camille rose and my hair doesn't mind cacao butter in deep conditioners. I agree!! Wash day got cut down and a lot more enjoyable when I started doing things I enjoy while doing my hair. I usually listen to music, watch some of my fav youtubers or a show I like. I also learned to not do my hair when I'm frustrated or I won't be as gentle. That combined with kinky kurly custard was the first time I saw my hair stay the same dry as it was when it was wet, it was moisturized and not super itchy.
The only leave in I haven't tried that you mentioned is the NLS banana leave in, but I just purchased it today as soon as their sale started. Can't wait to try them.
