This aged so well cause Kendrick just dropped another diss track
Imma be honest I don’t think he even done I think he dropping another one 😂
I literally just finished watching this video only to find out the new song from your comment🙆🏿♂🙆🏿♂😭🤣🤣🤣Akademics and Crodie about to be in shambles😭😭
Ay shoutout to my man he read the future like a book
@@BlowTorchDrizy1AK spiralling 😂
Wait what? Ain't no way he just put up somethin out
I love Kendrick out here giving all these RUclipsrs homework deciphering his lyrics 😂😂
ong😂😂😂
I got a solid A- Lol!
It's a at home Study group marathon
Yiu want it 😁
Drake can never do something like this he probably watching these vids too to understand Kendrick bars to respond
Drake already lost this battle for the simple fact he sent Kendrick a cease and desist letter for “Like That” 🤣🤣
💯
I’m just waiting for Birdman & J-Prince to jump in the middle of this 😂😂😅
@@Fiendythe thing is them southern ninjas can’t bully Westcoast gangstas. They need us if they wanna make money here.
@@BoOmBANG_faxz
Sending a cease and desist letter is almost equivalent to USA sending sanctions on Russia 😂😂😂😂
6 minutes 24 seconds track and 1 hour breakdown is Crazy
Crazy Crazy Work
Layers of diss
Broooo
I was just about to write the same thing hahahahaha
Drakes ‘youre short, size 7 mans’ is the equivalent of your beards weird.
That’s not what Drake said. You’re being disingenuous.
@@sincityquinn continue to go cry all over the Internet on different blog sites, comment sections, trying to revive your fallen king 😂😂😂😂😂
What about Shoo Shoo Shoo B B B ?
@@MrTrueCaller619that's a shot at drake. Drake does that in his albums.
@@MrTrueCaller619 the shoo shoo part is also Kendrick saying shoo fly go away.
Drakes elementary lyrics can’t never touch this 🪦
Damn you didn’t listen to Drake’s disses
@@wadewatts2311You don’t understand the disses?
@@wadewatts2311😂
Well how bout Drake's think tank of lyricists is still having a hard time dealing with this...
Kendrick really put Quadruple Entendres everywhere in this song 😂 mans is Goated
That diss track was straight nasty if you understand battle rap, hearing what Kendrick said and what might come up next lyrically, Cole was smart to leave lol
That have u ever line was a play of "swear to god"
As new Yorker that hit.
Love battle rap. But this is different.
Frfr
Cole bowed out probably because he knows him and Kendrick are on the same team really....
Heart Part IV 😂
I think that's the coolest thing about Kendrick's music and why it ages so well- it's meant to be deciphered. He is always teaching new stuff and making connections, not just rapping.
I started listening to Mr Morle again. I always liked the album but it definitely aged well. Sounds better now
Nah the reality is Kendricks music doesn’t age well as longevity or mass appeal is sacrificed for quality but drakes music lasts because he makes sure it’s a banger first and foremost and the diss quality is secondary. Push ups would blend in any club or party environment. Euphoria would have people looking at the DJ crazy
@@rosakop1 U like them kids too?
@@thejunky17 no why?
@@rosakop1 Bc your goat does
Everybody misses an aspect of “I didn’t point down enough”. This acknowledged that Kendrick v Drake is not a fair fight. Kendrick has to “aim down” more to properly hit Drake. Kendrick had given him too much respect previously
Also, the “youdunno nuttinboutthat” section is saying not only are you not teaching your kid about praying, being prepared for life, being a man etc., YOU don’t know about those things.
🔥🔥🔥
Agree, also in full auto draco needs to be pointed down as recoil moves it up. Lesson learned when going full auto... are we overthinking?
Drake drops a diss track that made people dance, Kendrick drops a diss track and stimulates a community in Drake home town. That's proof that his flow electrifies😂
Kendrick came back with a club banger
Do you know how many people need to watch this. I just hate when people say it's mid but won't admit they didn't understand alot and go do homework.
There's something else you missed about that line "I make music that electrify, Em". Couple years ago Eminem and Sway said that Kendrick music is electrifying then Em said K. Dot is a top tier lyricists of all time. So that's another angle many don't know about.
The depth of his lyrics. Theres some shade every where. In plain sight and hidden easter eggs. Gotta love kendricks pen talent.
It’s Elite
Drake is Ben. J. Cole is Jermaine Jackson in the comparison. He's saying Drake ain't Michael, he's the rat and he's the family pet. Kendrick is Joe, spanking Cole and exterminating Drake 💀
DAMN.
It’s been days and I’m still saying ‘damn’😂😂😂😂’I never kne’
Same here😂@@juan2trill
Ohhh wow 😮that sounds fair 👍
Or he could be saying that he is the president cuz Jackson and Benjamin and Joe are presidents
Joel Osteen's father, John Osteen wrote a book called Sixth Sense. So your analysis is spot on. The way he enunciated the name was to drive home the "confusion" bar.
Wtf... I've been 50/50 on whether I thought Kendrick meant this whole thing with the mixed up name or it was just a mistake but i may be getting convinced now. Too many coincidences.
dude nooooooooooooooo kdot is not human
how does kendrick do so much research its beyond me
Kendrick really got a sixth sense 😂
YMW Melly last name is "Demons" and Kendrick called himself YMW Melly, which was a call back to his ealier bar "eveybody wants to Demon"...I'm not going to attempt to count how many entendres he created using one word "Demon". Kendrick cooked 🔥🔥🔥
melly last name Demon, Future middle name Demun
@t.j.hunter1149 Melly last name is Demons but yea it's a crazy entendre
I bet these ghost writers would be like DAMN !
Don’t you also get Challenger Hellcat and Demon? Would make the chip line relevant too…
@Benjyboy1990 Is there a car named demon? If so then yea he probably used "Demon" to make 4 or 5 entendres
The “Real woman” line is actually saying that drake does young girls who “confuse” themselves for real women or older women
more like him “confusing” young girls with real women
WHAT IS IT THE BRAIDS
There’s too many quotables 😂
I hurt your feelings? You ain wanna work wid me no mo? OKAY!
The sarcasm is legendary 😂😂😂
Legendary bars 💯
My favorite lineeeee 😂😂😂😂
Kendrick came through with the triple entendre Drake asked for 🔥🔥🔥
Indeed 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly!!! Be careful what you ask for
It was a quintuple entendre and he still delivered it tht ghost writer AI bar after learning this shit hits so much harder now with this breakdown
He really did 😂😂😂
I always thought “I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way that you dress” was an MJ reference from The Way You Make Me Feel when MJ mentions the same things in the same order.
Yooooooo you right!! MJ says in the beginning "I like the groove of your walk, your talk, your dress😅
This line is now way funnier with that reference stacked on top of the dmx one 😂
@@wallsgreebo8352doubles where we thought there was only one. 💀
Smiles on my face watching this breakdown. I keep telling people kdot’s work is like the “Mona Lisa” painting 🖼️
It's so many layers everyone is missing. So many double and triple entendres that people don't mention.
Even quintuple entendres
This the best breakdown I’ve seen so far. Tell me what’s missing 😮
You got a horse in the race and it's OK bubby can't even be mad
Drop em homie
@@trace891hell no this is one of the worst breakdowns😭theres ones that explain each meaning of the lines most lines have triple or double meanings this guy didnt even touch on half of them
“Oh, you thought the money, the power or fame would make you go away?
Have you ever played have-you-ever? Okay, nigga, let's play
Have you ever walked your enemy down like with a poker face?
Have you ever paid five hundred thou' like to an open case?
Well, I have, and I failed at both, but I came out straight”
Kendrick says he stayed on his feet despite past legal and feud issues.
Also a play on straight, a pretty strong combination of cards in poker.
Kendrick is also talking about Drake and his sexuality.
TRIPLE ENTENDRE!!!
- Genius 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
kendrick put youtube on fire
That 8 bar shit was crazy. He really explained that on the 8th bar
Crazy.
I feel like kendrick finished this in a couple of days and just decided to wait. Kendrick set the world on fire and the diss is literally speaking volumes. Its like a therapist talkin to a client 😂 he's definitely up in this beef
It was absolutely done probably by Saturday night and they needed to produce it and get it to the studio, 3 days tops
"Once a lame, always a lame" is WILD saying he's been corny since DeGrassi 🤣 Lame means you can't walk. Can't walk? Wheelchair? It's the little jabs that get me 🤣
Sending a cease and desist letter is almost equivalent to USA sending sanctions on Russia 😂😂😂
It's equivalent to calling the police
WHAT?
Nah: US Sanctions on Russia actualyl affected people, true, it was like 6 dudes, but thats 6 more than Drakes cease and Desist :)
The difference is USA sanctions actually work 🤣🤣
Also Euphoria aired on Tuesday on HBO Max.
😮🤯
Nawww mans is too detail oriented, drake ain’t competing
"Everyone wanna be a demon until they get chipped by a throw away." Drake wanted a quintuple and he got it. 💀
1. Future has a song called throwaway and his middle name is Demun.
2. A throwaway is a gun with no serial number and everybody tough until they get shot (chipped).
3. Kendricks verse in 'like that' was just a throwaway and wasn't that crazy but drake ended up dropping two disses over it.
4. Dodge demons have a special chip to unlock full horsepower for drag strip and its more car bars for the hellcat/demon scheme.
5. Drake be painting his nails and talks about them getting chipped.
Damn that’s deep and so fucking raw! 🔥🔥
Look up YNW Melly's last name
Throw in the Drake wanting to be Future (DeMun) until he got chipped (hurt) by a throwaway (playground object [slide] 🤣) and you have a sextuple.
The man said, "I'll do you one better" 💀💀💀💀
@@shill7332was just about to bring that up bro 💯
Im on the kendrick side.
But come on now, yall over doing it 😂
He Got em with the Richard Pryor voice before it even started 😢😂😂😂😂😅😅😢😂
We starting from the release time and date OMG
Drake can't say anything about Kendricks wife bc HE HAS A CHILD WITH A CORN ⭐ 🤦🏽♂️ I FEEL BAD FOR THAT KID WHEN HE GROWS UP 😭
Kids rich bro he’ll be just fine
He’ll be best buds with Lana Rhodes kid
Facts.
@@rolinn777money ain't everything. Those kids created the mental health movement.
Thank you… been thinking this.
You misinterpreted the line about aiming at Drake. He said he should have “aimed lower”
Yep, like Drake is not on his level, so he has to aim down to hit Drake
Yes b/c guns as powerful as Draco’s have such a kickback you end up spraying up as you lose control of the gun
You helped out a lot of the simpletons with this breakdown. I’ve seen some of the lyrics and is like we were hearing different things. They’re too slow. And I’m on Kendrick side
Not that I'm some type of genius myself but I really think most of the track flew over Drake stans heads. Plenty of bars flew over my head too at the first couple listens. They don't seem to understand how deep Kendrick's bars are or the multiple entendres etc. His pen game is just on another level. According to some reactions, some Drake fans also seem to think the more melodic song wins the beef instead of what's actually being said 😂
Kdot put the nails in the coffin
Thanks for taking the time to dissect the work of a man that cares about the culture 🙏🏾
linking kendrick to hitler is out of pocket
yeah that's a massive massive strange reach
Hitlers death = drake “the hitler of rap” dying……would have made more sense then Kendrick killing Jews lol
od asl
It’s a white guy reviewing rap we expect too much he prob loved Hitler growing up. ( I reached just like him) 😏
He not reaching ....
KDot's diss actually helped a business... let's see Drake do that lol
Which business?
@@therights6794 That Chinese restaurant... did you watch the vid lol 54:57
"love them to death" is also a reference to J. Cole's Middle Child "I roll with some fiends, I love them to death"
Swear there's always something new with this song
@@012ghost Even the way he says "Remember" at the top of the second verse, right after the Daft Punk line is reminiscent of the way Drake says "Remember" in Worst Behavior. Kendrick has got layers on layers in this song, shit probably some triple meanings that will go over everybody's heads that only Drake will catch at this point- shit's personal
@@ShadowPatriot12 way to personal even the v12 bar which I thought was a filler bar is apparently the machine used for plastic surgery/ab surgery. I'm not sure which one is it but that's something someone mentioned
What if they were actual words and people like us are giving Kendrick way too much credit by calling it triple or quintuple entendre
@@ShadowPatriot12What if they were actual words and people like us are giving Kendrick way too much credit by calling it triple or quintuple entendre
This is by far the best Breakdown of this song yet
I just came from Akademiks live. This beef is gonna get a lil scary. That new ho king line has some real street shit involved w it
Joe Budden alluded to a few of the Dot bars are based in some street stuff.
Yo idk why but that line made me laugh so hard I pictured him in the new freezer video with the chopsticks eating Chinese food Milly rocking
@@moisesmontecillo7570same I thought I was the only one
In a Kobe jersey too👀
The whole Dad is a killer and JR section… Caught it lol. It’s like eight bars, all entendres.
@@gatsbyisdead the jersey 🔥 crodie
You know why I rock with you… because you keep it REAL & Don’t give Bias Takes !!! 💯
AKADEMICS SLEEPING ON STREAM 😂
That track is even better with the breakdown even though I already had Kendrick up this round. Great work Crodie lol.
If you go back and start connecting bars to other bars later in the song that’s when it’s starts to really get deep, you only scraped the surface. The reason Kendrick brought up diddy is because he’s been compare him to the way diddys been moving from the choice of women, to not liking women, to the pacifier line, him snitching after being robbed, him literally getting punched by diddy, being a kingpin, ywn melly(puffy related to big and others death), extortion, and the sizzlac situation just to name a few. There’s many more layers
I was playing soccer and ii tackled an opponent fairly but he still got mad and sat out.
I yelled "I hurt your feelings you don't want work with me no more? okay"
those saying this is not a repeat, dude it's day 3 and it is still hitting🔥🔥🔥 people are picking off chants daily
Lol I listened to it all day at work. Lol
Just singing when I see u stand next to sexy red I believe u see 2 bad bitches 😂😂😂😂

ON REPEAT
Dam bro this video was fire 🔥 you did your homework for real props
i feel like kendrick also references drake liking kids with the remote island verse, kind of a call back to epstein, whose first name is joe and had a remote island where he flew in the children
Damn. Good catch.. he really came with a quadruple entandre 😂
Boy bodied Drake
i watched about 5 real breakdowns and evrytime i read comments there is never the same interpretetion everyon breaks it down so good

Wow an hour just went and I didn't notice. Thanks Diverse Mentality, since Kendrick dropped this track. I'm always hearing new things everyday. K-Dot is an unquenchable fire🔥🔥🔥 😲😲😲
Whoa same, didn't even realise it was an hour!!!
Excellent review! I appreciate the time you put in to make this video. There were a lot of things I didn't know. Some other facts are the instrumental chosen in the intro is Teddy Pendergrass' "My Lastest Greatest, My Inspiration" which ends in background vocals singing "Higher" which relates to the feeling of euphoria. This part was also sampled by Kanye for the chicago group Do or Die. Dont know if that has any significance but i thought it was cool. Also the Canadian accent was a jab of irony of an American rapping using their slang as Drake does with ours.
The joel osteen thing may also work as a parallel to drake in the sense that osteen is a prosperity gospel preacher. Many Christians think hes corrupting christs message for personal gain.
Being disconnected from the philosophy of Christianity and only being concerned with wealth is comparable to drakes disconnection from black/hip hop culture. It fits the theme of the track.
joel osteen father John osteen wrote a book called sixth sense too
After watching this…. Kendrick drops. Back 2 back
WoW great breakdown! Would never have known half of this. Always rated Kendrick the fact that he can make such a deep 6min track where Every line packs at least one punch is incredible! Why we love his music and him as a human ❤️🔥
You missed the beginning when he shot down the owl six times before he switched to the next flow.
Also reminiscent of drake shooting at travis scott in a concert.
Bro not even gonna lie, this is THE BEST breakdown Ive seen fr
@diversementality You forgot one thing the intro instrumental was from teddy pendergrass - you’re my lastest, my greatest inspiration
Pendergass= Degrassi 😮
@@LarryIsraelall y'all got to stop with this trying to connect every little thing otherworldly brilliance. Yes man is a machine and he is brilliant but some of this analysis is utterly ridiculous it's like listening to people in tin foil hats relating everything to lizard people running the world as to why they got fired from their job. Like sometimes coincidences are just coincidences and meetings are just surface level. Absolutely wild
Teddy pendergrass was crippled in a wheelchair
This is the best breakdown I've heard so far!!
Kendrick saying daylyt wrote back 2 back.
"Your best work is a lyt pack"
"Back 2 back i like that record"
lols crazy
😮😮😮😮😂
Every time I think of Drake being tough I just remember when T.I. And lil duval told the story about how Drake got pissed on at a party by a bodyguard I think 😂😂 out bad
But Drake also made a comment about dont make me chip a nail on push up
Honestly i think DNA is diss track towards drake. If you listen to the lyrics and think about Drake it makes sense.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Finally!! lol see this is what i've been talking about .. this is the best break down i've seen so far .. you actually did your homework and that's all i've been trying to say lol you might think i've been going hard on you but all i want is for dudes to do their homework before making videos about the culture and you did a great job!! that's all i've been trying to say homie .. this is by far the most accurate information on the Kendrick shit that i've seen on youtube 💯
him and knox are goated
This a really good breakdown 👏
"Back To Back," I like that record
I'ma get back to that, for the record
The line before that implies it was ghost written. "Your best work, thats a lyt track" reffering to daylyt
39:36 There’s a clip of Drake from 2007 saying the hard r and it sounds like he just started saying. lol
This is a Masterclass. I am ready for the pop quiz. Thank you for this breakdown. Professor K Dot and Tha Boi handed out a lot of homework over the weekend

Am surprised you the least follow ups while you have the most detailed breakdown of this track so far good job loved it
22:02 You are definetly reaching here.
This bar is simple: Dementia (The-Men-Sure) must run in his family but let it get shaky I'll park his son.
Referencing Drakes dad and his abandonment issues.
😮
His daddy a killer he wanna be Jr.
His dad killed his childhood by not being there. And now he wanna be Jr by doing the same to his son.

The “remember?” part when the beat switches is Kendrick mocking Drake on Worst Behavior. Also Drake was walking around Memphis in the video.

"Have you ever walked your enemy down with a poker face?" Yeah, the doing dirt part fits but he's also letting Drake know that that is what Drake is doing right now. He's walking down Kendrick without a good hand, trying not to let it show. He's saying that when he did it it was a different situation and he came out of it ok...will Drake? The bars.
