In my opinion Nama's biggest mistake in 2023 is lagging on releasing their BlackFriday sale. They allowed Kuvings to scoop up buyers on the fence like me
I’ve had the same thought! I would have pulled the trigger on the J2 if they had had a Black Friday sale before this…there’s still no indication from Nama that they will even have a big sale. So, I too went with the AUTO10 while I know I can secure a great deal like this along with the included sorbet attachment and with a reliable company with a great warranty.

I agree I was waiting for them. But I guess I'm going with this juicer.
I don't think Nama was expecting Kuvings to release the Auto10 as well as the AMAZING sale price, that Nama Can't touch. Nama has never done a 30% off discount. The most they have done is about 15%. I believe Nama is somewhat on their "high horse" since they currently have the best-selling hopper juicer. So I am glad that Kuvings is shaking things up, to encourage Nama to improve.
My AUTO10 arrived yesterday - and I got to try it last night. I threw celery, carrots (just cut to where they fit) and a large, whole beet in that big, beautiful hopper. Flipped the switch and not only did the cutter in the hopper slice right through everything, the pulp was minimal and very dry and the juice came out with no froth and it’s been in the fridge (in a Ball jar) with almost no discernible separation even this morning. It does say to let it run for 30 sec after the juicing is completed, which left only small bits in the hopper. Also, I did the warm soapy water self rinse, which was really helpful to reduce the residue for final cleaning. The only drawback for some is also its positive for most of us (imho) - and that is it’s size. It’s a solid and powerful juicer - so far, I’m extremely pleased! 😊. Happy juicing everyone!!

Thank you for the effort and mountain load of info you put into your posts. I am new to cold pressed juicing. I did have lots of experience with the Atlas centrifuge juicer from my grandma. Your videos have really educated me on this process of cold press juicing. I have been thinking of getting one for a while.
In your review of the Auto10 I heard there is a 15 year warranty. I didn’t see that in the store online list of warranties. There was just the Revo830 with a 15 yr. No mention of the Auto 10 at all.

@@maryhicks7976 This is in Australia's Kuvings' Warranty. Look under Kuvings AUTO10 Cold Press Juicer Specifications section;
the Warranty for parts is 5 years and Warranty for Motor is 20 years. Apparently, the Warranty period had increased from 15 years to 20 years for Domestic or Home uses. Probably is the same warranty in the USA & Canada.

After watching SO MANY videos and debating between the J2 and 830, I recently decided to go with the J2 only because it has a walkaway hopper. To me thats a game changer. @@7Louise7I already made my purchase of the auto10 with the BF 30% off deal. Cant wait for it to arrive. Apparently the auto10 is an inch shorter than 830. So im hoping it will fit under my cabinet space. Besides being cheaper than the J2, it also INCLUDES a sorbet mechanism, whereas u have to buy it separately with the J2. This was also also an important deciding factor for me. As for the noise level being louder that u mention, I think I can deal with that. Especially since I can just walk away to another room. 😂

BTW. My husband was born and I was raised in Las Vegas...early 1950s and moved to California in 2001. Got to live and see the very best of Vegas in the old days. Lake was full and free to access for all days of fun boating and swimming and we had grass yards.

Just ordered! I am so excited. I gave my other Kuvings Juicer to a cousin, this just seems amazing.
I bought the Kuvings Auto10 direct from Kuvings during their Black Friday sale and will be returning it after a few uses. Here are my experiences of it compared to my Kuvings C7000.
1) Total juicing and cleanup time is longer with Auto10 vs Kuvings C7000 for making large batches of juice.
2) More produce has to be cut up (apples, lemons, cucumbers, pretty much everything, in order to fill the hopper efficiently. With the C7000 only celery, ginger, and some greens had to be cut up.
3) The Auto10 strainer clogs up easily and quickly which slows the juicing process.
4) Auto10 extracts smaller amounts of juice from lemons limes & ginger that I add to a juice mix than C7000 no matter if pre-cut or not.
5) Auto10 pulp is wetter compared to C7000 pulp (probably because the strainer clogs up almost immediately.
6) Auto10--For large batches of juice I still have to stand by the juicer because every time, some of the produce (quartered lemons, cucumber chunks, carrot pieces, etc) just spins around in the hopper and I have to stop and gently poke the produce down down into the auger--I gently use a chopstick with the machine turned off.
7) I make 80 - 100 ounces of juice at a time and vacuum seal it 20-oz mason jars. It requires about 3+ hoppers and each time I refill the hopper, I have to stop & dissemble it to unclog the strainer and hopper cutter.
8) I do not recommend this 1st generation of the Kuvings Auto10. In my experience, it is not efficient and is not a time saver, at all.
So it is better to use C7000 for a semi-commercial use? I will also be juicing as much as you do. And I will be using leafy veggies more like spinach, radish leaves, wheatgrass, etc. I have a revo830 and I want to buy one more. Which one would you suggest - auto10 or C7000?

@@hanacurekovic The Australian model was released a few months ago. I wonder if it was a prototype model to test in real life. EU model with the same motor was released recently. I'm not sure why there is a few months gap between them.
Only 15% off in Australia. Only 5 years warranty and citrus attachment instead of extra screens. It's not the best promo in comparison to the US and EU.

I was also on the fence! Before the AUTO10, I decided I would get the J2 because of the hopper. AUTO10 has a large hopper, better motor (seemingly), a cleaning tool for faster cleaning, and comes with a sorbet attachment. I just purchased mine. They’re already on back order. I don’t think you can go wrong. I’ll be interested to see the comparison!

Been your fan since 2015. You recommended the Tribest slow juicer and bought it. I bought it because my mom was in the hospital and wants to make juice for her. Tribest was one of my best purchase and still using it these days. But I want to start looking for a new one as I feel like I over used it last time and felt overheated. I could see a benefit with the Kuvings over the nama if you have limited horizontal counter space as the juice comes out of the front instead of the side.
true that. I am a fan of the square vs opposite outlet ports for pulp and juice. That being said the kuvings is taller than the j2.

Even if I stopped at the fill line, the juice would have overfilled the collection cup. IMO Kuvings did not plan this accordingly.

I ordered the Auto10! I noticed for California it has the Prop 65 Cancer warning (base). Do you know which part of the base has those chemicals and do those parts come into contact w the juice? Thank you! I was debating between the Nama J2 as well. Thank you!
I read on Facebook that Kuvings responded to someone's comment about the prop warning, and they said it's in the base of the juicer. As long as the base of the juicer doesn't catch on fire you are safe from being exposed to the carcinogens. I'm not sure which part of the base though. Still a bummer they have this issue. I am also on the fence between the Nama J2 and the Auto10 because of this issue. Weighing the pros and cons. I also heard Nama may have a discount on Friday, but they are definitely behind on Black Friday. This discount probably won't be as good as Kuvings. 30% is an insane discount!

How do you define better? Each machine has its own set of pros and cons. I love the hopper size of the Auto10, and that sorbet/smoothie strainer is included. I like the proven dependability of the j2 that has been out for 2 years now, and has improved it since it came out. no. the auto10 juicer parts will not fit on other Kuvings juicers.

No. I called and asked the company. This one takes a different citrus juicer attachment as well. You just have to sell your Revo😂

for leafy greens it will be difficult to beat the 727. The yield will probably favor the 727 when juicing greens, the 727 will also have more pulp in the juice, and a more nutritious juice. The Auto10 juicing process will be much easier.

2. The 830 is a manual-feed juicer. The Auto10 is a self-feeding juicer, and much easier to use.
3.The 830 does not seal at the bowl to lid, so you can kinda auto-clean, but at some point, water will leak out.
How good is this juicer juicing carrots? Would you get more carrot juice vs. The mama juicer?

i have not compared yields directly between the auto10 and j2 as of yet. Based on the performance of past Kuvings juicers, they have basically kept up with the Nama J2, so yield will be fairly similar, favoring one or the other by a small margin, based on my beliefs (within 10%) so what is important is the other features of the machine. I love the larger hopper of the auto10, but I prefer the efficiency of the Nama J2 in clearing the hopper after the hopper is emptied. Both machines will make a similar juice quality. The J2 is TIME PROVEN and has been out 2 years now, and they have made many small adjustments since it first came out to make it better, where as the Auto10 is just being released! Of course, the discount on the Auto10 can not be beat. I know nama will not have anywhere near a 30% discount, if they do have a discount for black Friday. Last year they provided a $80 discount , which is about 14.5%. It is a tough decision. I hope to have a comparison video auto10 vs J2 soon.

How well does it work with celery? My hunch is that you still have to cut celery so as to not clog the machine up.
I have not tried celery in the Auto10 yet. I would expect to work, but of course to efficiently load the hopper it would be best to chop celery into smaller pieces.

I already have the Nama J2 & love it.Recently I upgraded to the Nama C2. I haven’t tested or used it as of yet. I am wondering if I made the right choice on getting there C2 now that there is the Kuvings Auto10. I would like to see which is the better choice between the Nama C2 vs. Kuvings Auto10. I just might be disappointed, but hopefully not.
Between the C2 and Auto10, I personally would get the C2, because it is a slow juicer + blender (and can vacuum blend) so it offers much more flexibility IMO. Plus I love how tall the C2 is for bulk juicing.
I saw in the Nama group. Nama is working on a larger hopper attachment(s) that will work with the j2 and c2

Dang, I was going to do it too. Now having that warning on something that makes juice that I would be consuming is an issue for me.
Very disappointed that the kuvings has a prop 65 warning especially on something that you will be drinking juice from. I refuse to buy for that reason!
So i inquired further and this was their response “We use sustainable materials like Ultem and BPA-free Tritan. Some parts used in producing the motor base use ABS (the motor base does not come in contact with the ingredients, nor the juicer produced or pulp), which may contain butadiene and ethenylbenzene. For additional information on Proposition 65 and the required warnings, please visit www.oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65 or www.p65warnings.ca.gov/.”
I read on Facebook that Kuvings responded to someone's comment about the prop warning, and they said it's in the base of the juicer. As long as the base of the juicer doesn't catch on fire you are safe from being exposed to the carcinogens. Still a bummer they have this issue. I also heard Nama may have a discount on Friday or Monday but they are definitely behind on Black Friday.
@@kendregab7328 who is to say the juicer won't catch on fire? So technically you are NOT safe! The point is they have cancer causing chemicals IN their products whereas other juicers do NOT!
The Kivings and Omega can imitate the Nama J2, but are these juicers offering 15 year warranty for the base and parts?
the Nama J2, Omega Effortless Batch Juicer and Kuvings Auto10 ALL have 15 year warranties. That being said, Nama & Kuvings has better customer service than Omega based on customer feedback.

In your video you said the container wasn't big enough to hold your juice. But you failed to realize in that moment that you OVER FILLED the hopper. So I guess the container actually holds what it is supposed to.

Wondering if this leaves wet pulp like my J2.
Juicing wise, they are very comparable. So the pulp dryness will not be significantly more dry (or wet) than the j2 based on my initial testing.

Your thoughts on the California Proposition 65?
THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION. It is a pro and a con. I am glad that more people know about foods/products that include carcinogens. But the law is not written well. Like, I am glad there are warning signs on gas pumps, for example, but other foods known to cause cancer such as meats and highly processed foods still do not have the warning. I still buy and consume products that have a prop 65 warning, such as seaweed for one.(doeseis the poison- of some heavy metals, and it doesn't factor in BENEFITS of products) I think the prop should go MORE into detail and share WHAT makes this product/item cancer causing and then go into the amounts in the product and compare to "safe limits" so that each consumer can have the specific knowledge they need to make an informed decision. For example, some products contain a prop 65 warning due to chemicals in the cord of the appliance, which has nothing to do with its safe operation.

Question for ya John. Wondering if there is a chart out there that has fruits and vegetables that will go together color wise. Like carrots and honey dew and red/orange/yellow pepper in a group etc. Basically would give us an unlimited recipe template for juicing based on a nice rich appetizing color.
I imagine some are obvious and some not so much.
Thats an interesting concept, I have never seen such a chart. some colors are more dominant than others when juicing, for example, beets added to a juicer will turn juices shades of purple for sure. generally darker colors are more dominant.
@@discountjuicers thanks john I've seen some people make juice online and it's an unappealing brown color which I think as a juicer you want to avoid juice that looks like it came from ground up dirt lol. on the other hand ive seen a lot of the juices youve done and a lot of the ones ive seen are very vibrant and it doesnt look like you do any color correcting in post processing to make it look that way. i dont know the best way the chart could be made, maybe based on what color you want, the things you can add that wont change the color much and the things that would make it that color as well as things to avoid to not ruin the color. for instance I've made green smoothies with oranges apples carrots, spinach and banana and when I add blueberries to it it turns to a rotten brown color, however without them its a nice green. Some fruits just have counteracting pigments like mixing too many paint colors as a kid fingerpainting.

Yes! The J2 has a 2 liter hopper and the Auto10 has a 3 liter hopper. The hopper size is what I love MOST about the auto10. Its huge!

Between the Auto10 and Revo830, I personally would buy the Auto10. It will save time, since you load up the hopper and walk away. It will also have a higher resale value in the future because juicers are going hopper based that is making juicing easier for a wider variety of people than the dedicated health nuts that would take the time needed to juice manually.

basically there are parts in the motor that are made with chemicals and that’s why they have that warning on it. Nama doesn’t. That’s why i went with Nama for peace of mind. But it does look like the auto 10 has a slightly more powerful motor if that matters to you

I prefer to use my nama c2 when juicing at home over the j2 and auto10, personally at this point. Although I wish nama had the large hopper, which is what I like most on the Auto10

Its a tough decision. I like the size of the hopper, cleaning tool, included attachments of the auto10, but I love the efficiency of the J2 and the lower price. Plus the J2 has been out for 2 years now, and has the bugs worked out. The Auto10 just came out and there are some small annoyances that I point out in this video that I'm sure kuvings will fix in the future.

I kept going back and forth between the Kuvings and Nama but once I read that, I knew what my choice was. I have a breville juicer and so glad to know it doesn’t have the prop 65 warning on their products. The Nama is thee best juicer. I know I love mines. Had it since August.
@@teem5761 I do not feel comfortable buying a juicer that you will be drinking juice from when it has a cancer warning on it. At least with supplements with the prop 65 warning they do third party testing to ensure their product is safe within normal levels. There is no way to do third party testing on a juicer that uses chemicals in their base! I received the nama j2 juicer for Christmas last year and I absolutely love it. It is very easy to use and cleanup is a breeze. The sorbet attachment is easy to use when making sorbet. You can find a 15% off coupon online for the nama juicer. Nama sure is an investment but totally worth the money.

Kuving and Nama J2 are all created in South Korea. Seems that Hurom may play a role in both juicers.
