722.6 automatic transmission conductor plate replacement part 1 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 -99

Gear dropped to neutral quite often and started to work after stopping engine for few minutes. Transmission control unit switches to neutral if speed info is missing from one of transmission sensors and these sensors are on conductor plate. The sensors are hall type so testing is not very easy so I decided to try if replacing conductor plate fixes the problem.
