They did Robbie justice. That's a good thing, they touched on his gangridden neighborhood and his little brother which some of the iterations in other games didn't get right.
It's not hard to do Robbie "justice" when he's such a lame cliched paint by numbers reboot character and easily the weakest iteration of Ghost Rider or do we just ignore the laziness that permeates every part of his character from conception to design because modern audiences are so easily impressed due to willful ignorance about the history of literally anything?

Ghost Rider getting set on fire as his introduction in both agents of shield and midnight suns is hilarious. Also the casual murder of bad guys is very on point when compared to the MCU

3:06 even after being set on fire he still waits for the green light before giving chase, truely the most responsible servant of hell.
It never ceases to amuse me when I remember he literally has a gateway to hell in his trunk, hopefully they mention it in the game, an like they need to go to hell for some reason and everyone is thinking of reliable ways to get there and Robbie is just like "oh, a way into hell? Sure I got one of those in my trunk" 🤣
Given one level I saw in the promo material, that actually sounds plausible. Then again, that might involve taking Majik off the board, since the demon queen of Limbo could probably get them there too.
Being Ghost Rider is top 5 for me, this was so much fun to watch! Keep it up team!

The way Robbie is set on fire alongside the car was so badass. That engine sound never gets old 🔥🔥

I was mad that he didn't came back for AOS Season 5B and Season 6 (he would have fit perfectly for season 6, to kill Izel and Sarge)

I'm really glad the older Ghost Riders have been moved aside for Robbie. I like his character way better than the other two. Gabe being an adorable dork in the comics is equally amazing.

The first short was normal animation, episode 2 and 3 are more what if type of animation. Love it.

I kind of like the idea of seeing Storm and Magik team up. Bu tthat's for afte rthe DLC's come ouit given Storm is one of the DLC characters.
I know right!! I've been throwing around the idea to do a fan-fiction for those two since the game promo material first game out. I'll probably be starting it soon or waiting to see how they Interact in the game before writing it.

@Viriatus PC You'll recall Johnny Blaze was stuck with the demon Zarathos before massive retcons made the latter something else. This is a return to first principles with Robbie.

Robbie with that “I’m no hero.” Bullshit.
See it from his POV...he's got a raging monster inside him that he'd just as soon not have. He can channel it but the possibility of losing control is always there. So yeah, he's freaking scared. Hard to feel heroic when you've got all that in your head.

I thought penance stare was what Ghost Rider is known for. Making people feel all the pain they have inflicted on others. Not setting people on fire. Unless I'm missing some thing?
Still loved this short though. If you made a Midnight Sun series I would watch it. The three shorts so far seem to be on track with Amazing Spiderman.
Robbie isn't a true ghost rider like Johnny or Danny. He didn't get his powers from Zarathos, so he can't do the Penance Stare
I just remembered the Animated Television series, Spider-man: The New Animated Series just like this prequel shorts. I really want that revive.

I swear, how great this animation style is (including the fire and smoke effects, *very* artsy. Love it when said effects take on such a look), and the very vibe it gives me just makes me think that this is, like, how *Spider-Man: The New Animated Series* would look like in the modern age of today's world, if it were to return.
Robbie is such a cool character, this short is definitely my favorite.

I don't want to lower your hopes but I think these prequels are for the 4 midnight suns team members that are already in the abbey (Magik, GhostRider, Nico & Blade), besides the one for Litlith & Caretaker one. And I believe Spidey is recruited sometime along the main storyline
I suppose it's only Nico and Blade left for this series. I am still looking forward to it.
@@estebanjvidal Yeah I think so too I think these are just fo rthe 4 squadmates tha tare already there at the start of the game as we saw Magik last week and Ghost Rider this week just Nico and Blade to fill the list. Because those 4 are already at the Abbey when Dr Strange, Captain Marvel and Iron man show up there which we get to play with during the prologue. Spidey as you say we recruit during the main story when we run into Venom. Because that Venom boss fight they showed off to us in the Summer Game Fest is where we recruit him I think.
