Hi Ben, the VSD main board is plated copper foil with a coating of solder mask green ink on top. After contact priniting, areas are left with exposed copper, these areas are ENIG ( nickle / gold ) plated - generally 4 microns nickel and 0.05 microns gold. . love your channel 😊 - cheers ( from a PCB engineer)
Hi Ben I love hearing you talk. You have a beautiful accent. You're also a hard worker and you explain what you're doing so well. I also love that chicken because he wants to be a star !😂 He knows exactly when to show up and show out ! Take care of yourself Ben and as always , keep the videos comin'.
I had to watch this in loads of sittings 🙈 but what a lovely 2nd pick up. I'd love to know the total amount of aluminum in that lot! Yay street scrapping, can't wait!!! 😄
Excellent pickup and I think that the yard is cutting the aluminum heat sinks up and selling it for extruded awesome video great content thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Hi Ben, the mH on the choke stands for mili Henry instead of Megaherz as you thought. It's a measurement for coils since chokes are coils. Maybe will be helpful in the future. It's basically the equivalent to Farad on capacitors (the uF or similar rating).
You been be grateful and thankful I live in Canada Manitoba the only buy metal and copper and stuff nobody wants circuit boards and that is very sad in general you cannot sell any e-waste they all want it for free point thank you for reading
@36:00 You get so many usable electronic parts, that you could open a little shop next to your house and employ a student or two to sell these, and everyone would get happy !
The bit holder works best when you have the bits in order and when you take the time to put each bit back in the holder after you use it so when the current bit is too big or too small it's clear where the good bit is, it can look as a waste of time in the begining but otherwise you end up with the bits spread out all over the workbench adn when you need a bit you wate time searching for it.
17:00 what about a lift attachment on the back of your van? Wheel one them orange bins over and unload that bin and then put it on the van lift and roll the orange bin into the van.
That large square cube is a choke as indicated, Its an inductor, the marking mh, stands for millihenry, which is a measurement of inductance, not frequency,
Love the videos! I cant wait to see some videos of you recovering or refining the metals you are saving! What method will you use; smelting, acids/bases, electrolysis or whatever it is called?
Hi yeah, Ben. Have U ever thought of sorting your nuts, bolt, washers, screws, nails into buckets of different metal, iron, alie, copper etc, the amount of screws U have from pulling apart thing would mount up over time, B a little earner over time. Cheers Pete.
@@genewickersham4593 True, no one’s business really, as all health things are, but I think it’s still fair to mention. The job would be easier without it.
Ben has to get tired of the health issues and expense first. I quit 10 yrs ago. I watched my mother die from smoking after that. It's a personal decision.
I thought Ben, you stopped a year ago, I quit 3 years ago, tough, real tough, not sure if people go on to vaping it’s better, don’t think there has been enough time to know if worse than cigarettes but it’s very much a personal choice, I stopped as I did not want to do it around my kids when the TV ads show what you are doing to their little lungs, we have to make our own choices
Putting computers in your front seat should be your LAST, resort, not first. You will not be able to see out the rear view mirror or even make left hand turns safely. Cops around here may even give you a ticket for blocking your window and view with boxes.
Oh yes, brilliant timing, waiting for the little man to come out of MRI, this will be a lovely way to pass my time!!
Thanks Ben, always fun rolling in your van and scrapping with you!

H is for Henry(measure of coil inductance), Hz is for hertz, also m is for mili and M is for mega.
I have to remember it’s winter there, well, quite mild there compared to our last one in Utah, USA. Summer now and still snow in the mountains!
Yeah, I was expecting to see a steering wheel the first couple of times he loaded into the left side

Hi Ben... if chickens had arms and hands , you would have some cute little helpers and eggs for breakfast..!!

You might need to change the Hz settings to 50 from your camera to get rid of the flashing lights when inside
love it
Great video
What is it with your camera hog chickens. It sure loves to steal the show.

👍👍👍😎
Those cilindrical black capacitors should be marked as "EPCOS" one of the best Brands. Top quality and sometimes the uf are even more than the label

Ben did you remember to get the batteries from that bin? Thanks for the video, enjoyed,
Yayyy🎉😁
@46:00 You could cut this big chunk of extruded aluminium and cut it into 5 smaller pieces with a buzz saw. Perhaps 10 min of work, but more value.
those white squares are IGBT's
Id like to have those ;)
Nice video good 👍

Hello my friend, good job. Do you take this without money
Yes, No money
Why not make more copper & silver melt videos?
Hey Ben what is that strange light on the fork lift ?
The blue (or sometimes red) forklift safety lights are used as pedestrian warning systems. They project a spot or arrow on the ground.
Perhaps he's gasping because he actually works for a living.
should backup bit closer
What does vsd stand for - thanks
variable speed drive
Cardio check you don't have to go to a fitness center
فرصة عمل
You need to park closer to your pallets
Ben you should stop smoking then you got more air to breath
Scrap channel. Not smoking cessation channel.

It would make your life easier

Want to throw the plastic in the dumpster
Ben, you seem a bit short of breath.
Do I have to worry?
