I'll have equity and trusts next year. I've been told it is a complicated and difficult subject. It certainly feels so. But I have to say, the reasoning in Pennington is very, very interesting. I suspect the whole module must be so as well. Very good delivery. Thank you
Thank you. Trusts can be difficult , particularly when you first start studying it. But stick with it. I loved teaching it. It can be related to many aspects of modern life. Pennington is a difficult case (difficult cases make bad law?)
Hi, I am currently writing an essay on Re Rose [1952] and Pennington v Waine and i am struggling to fins some academic opinions and arguments on the cases, have you got any suggestions? Thank you :)
What happens when A promises to transfer shares to B and sends the STF with the share certificates. Later B realise that A had forgot to sign the STF and asks him to sign. A refuses to sign saying he changed his mind. Can B ask the court to make A sign the imperfect gift?
Hi Meimei, Thank you for your comment. Whilst I always welcome feedback on the content of my vidoes from viewers, I'm afraid that I can't enter into correspondence relating to individual problem questions. You need to consider Re Rose and Pennington. Good luck with it. It's an interesting point. Amanda
