I don't know man. Molten aluminum goes right through shoes like that and they also weren't wearing eye protection. I do things like this as a hobby, and though I'm more relaxed than most with safety things this video made me cringe. Hopefully they know something I don't.
Western societies dumb down, over complicate and place too many regulations on jobs. Hence why nearly all significant production & manufacturing jobs have all moved to Asia & less developed countries around the world like Mexico.. Average Japanese are unlike average American workers, think they can get away with stuff like that. Do you expect your authentic katana maker in japan to also wear safety glasses and shields? 😆 close to snowflake mentality
i respect craftsmanship of japanese factory workers. no other places on earth does factory workers meticulously care so much about small details. no wonder japanese products are distinguished amongst others.
I was impressed that they machined all of the visible faces of the parts. The customer must have requested very careful finishing of the parts. 👍Maybe these parts are for inside the cabin, structure and aesthetic.
@@FrozenHaxor Brackets for luggage. Always made with at least safety margin of 4. And nobody knows if a 200 pounds guy will try to sleep in the luggage rack.
Agree. I'm all for protecting my lungs, but casting metal without eye protection seems odd to me. I've got a friend who has scars on their face from aluminum hitting a mold that had moisture in it. I always use eye protection.

You could get away without using any music at all I think. I like the sound of machinery.. more like ASMR. Nice video btw.!
That how Toyota was born, hardwork and determination 🐱👍🏿

Japanese aluminium castings are the best in the world.
Lindo trabalho parabéns era oque procurava trabalha sozinho

I like when Japanese using news paper for their own work 😆😆 same as my country people 😆. Thanx.
Terima kasih perkongsian video nya 👍👍👍.
The picture quality is awesome! I had a good time ^^

Japan and industrious are two words that harmoniously match so well.
I’ve been a railcar for 30 years, and I can say that this is a video of aluminium parts casting. My rail hat goes off.
I would've loved to see the final product when later assemble all those parts
Muy buen trabajo
The really fun part comes when someone throws a water bottle into the molten aluminum
Amazing teamwork
Definitely an improvement from the Pakistani videos... Glad to see proper safety apparel, workers wearing shoes, and using bins

Nice work but why no protective shoes nor protective glasses?
It's like these talented workers were "cast" just for this video. Very COoL.
That is so satisfying
Man right when i was thinking you "you gotta move the steam to pick up the cooler aluminum" and boom he did it lol.
Great content, thank you
Great video! I think it would have been even better if we could see what these parts do and where they go. Keep up the good work!

No safety glasses or shields...... unbelievable
I would have expected far more from a Japanese based operation!

this is not machining, its ART!
These days, I’m kinda surprised to see how much is done by hand in an industrialized country

It's because they will be put to death if there are any errors
Done pretty much the exact same job for 20 years here in the US. I think you just need to see it done more.

Think so too. Those L shape brackets should be for luggage racks & small parts for hand railing.

Amazing….pouring molten metal, blowing off parts……and NO eye protection! ??

they eat plenty of salads and seaweed they dont eat junk food like us
