This is NOT their finals performance!. I was there live and saw it first hand; and those who were there as well know what really happened during this screen pic. This is a mix between their preliminary and finals performances. Just look at the audience in the bleachers behind them during camera shots. Sometimes they're there, then they're gone. Amazing! That being said, still a groovy show.
A friend of mine who marched that year gave me the low down on their performance. This is a mix of their finals and prelims performance bacause eveeything that could go wrong went wrong in finals. People dropping left and right and then in major blocks people tripping and toppling other performers due to their fall. It was apparently a huge mess.

i think all the 1993 performances were spliced between Prelims & Finals.
Agreed... I recall this live performance as well. I was sitting quite near the front and this is not the one I saw.
What happened? I heard something went wrong in finals, but not sure what.

They won in a landslide. Almost by 2 points. 5 years in a row from 1990-94.
Amazing show but emerald marquis was cleaner
