  • For hard porcelain tiles in particular, many experts recommend angle grinders with diamond cutting discs as the best tool for the job. While some professionals will advise against this combination because of edge chipping - it’s actually because they’ve been using the wrong diamond cutting disc! In our video, we use glazed tiles to demonstrate that not all diamond cutting discs are created equal and the key role played by the design of the disc rim. So if you need to cut some glazed tiles, should you be looking at cutting discs with a segmented or continuous rim - or perhaps a turbo disc? We provide the definitive answer in our video by using the segmented RHODIUS LD50, the continuous DG50 and the DG10 with its turbo rim to cut through a glazed tile.
