Pardon my French, but paddle switch sucks!!! Well being Makita of course they are great and do not force so many of us who cannot stand the paddle to migrate, please keep the proper switch on offer and this is all good so we can all choose whatever system we want to use. If anything, I suppose they could add a third option although likely not needed, imho that is but we all different and I know of many machine workers asking for a switch to be rotated cause they cut a lot with the grinder and want the switch easily available holding it like that. Personally I could go for one of those too even though for me it's more like 50/50 grinding/cutting, if I had 1 thing I could ask for for next gen it would be a bit more power in same format or slightly shorter overall in length even, perhaps slimmer handle but just things I can live without I suppose. With some 30% more juice though would turn this into a truly remarkable grinder, especially with DIY batteries from best li ion cells available, I use a few cells making the new batteries or when restoring old with new cells and contol board, Panasonic/Sanyo's like the NCR18650GA can never go wrong, either can LG18650MJ1 or Samsung INR1865035E, or even 30Q. They will all deliver high enough discharge ratings while offer better energy density and if truly demanding 15 cell battery plastic shells can be found at Ali Express etc for 5S3P set ups and lots and lots of juice. To me standard 10 cell packs @ 18v is enough and parallel 2x 3500mah will still build you a 7A pack which last a bit whether on the angle or die grinder, just wish Makita could understand this too and offer us at right price without having to build ourselves, I do prefer Makita original and while fun as so on at right price no screwing going around I would buy them directly from you Makita!

    Thank you for this video.
Is it easy to hold paddle verion model with one hand during cutting or grinding?

I wish the slide switch was on the side of the grinder and not the top.
