You are the first reviewer of books who has actually made lots of amigurumi from the patterns. Wow! I have lots of books but never make the animals mostly because it is easier to read the patterns on my phone or iPad. I enjoyed your review. I would have loved see all your creations.

Thanks for sharing! I have a few of the books you have also! They are treasures for sure! I switched to crochet for toy’s because it took me forever to knot arms and legs in the round! And then the knitted fabric was more stretchy than the crochet, so I got a better looking finished project from crochet! Happy crocheting! Btw, you have completed way more projects than I have! I am jealous!

Did you have problems with the patterns in Sweet Crochet friends? Other reviewers said the instructions didn’t always say when to change colors or hook size. Also 2 reviewers said the head was too large on the April Doll and the directions for the legs on the same doll caused them to sew the leg on backwards.

Keep trying,use pins before you stitch permanently.sometimes I still sew on some parts crooked
