Do you know out of all the Lock pick cards I’ve used the Toool card is the only one where the Picks could be used long term? At least that is what I’ve come to notice.
You can tell this card was well thought out. It's easy to look back and point out mistakes like I do but this card is one i'd consider for practical uses.
They did, and I have the privilege of discussing these changes with someone involved in both cards / all things locksport in 56 minutes. Will let you know how it goes in the video today :)
Awesome! This was the card I was waiting the most for. Really wanted to see how their rakes performed. Question to LegalLockPicker. How come you didn’t get a Sparrows Chaos card for a review? All I can think of is that it’s not fully a lock picking set since it includes bypass tools.
That TOOOL set is pretty awesome! I would love to see you do a review of the chaos card from sparrows. This video was super helpful though. I would definitely get this for my EDC.
I have the sparrows chaos card, and it sux compared to what I've just seen. On the other hand...all other cards fall short when compared to Wendt new card.
@@LegalLockPicker That makes sense, but I still think a short hook should've replaced one of the deeper hooks, since if you're going to SPP or zip, a short hook would be easier to use in most cases.
That's a very nice set, simple yet effective. I like that it includes TOK tensioner, but I still prefer the new style card set that Wendt just released designed by locknoob and tallinpick. {Edit} I noticed they also did 2 things that Wendt does...holes for a keyring, and a carry case for after they have been snapped apart.
It looks like you've chosen the order in which you're testing them to be a steadily upwards pointing chart. Starting with the worst of them all and from there on it has been improving constantly and with this set we've crossed the "usable" line. But it doesn't really come to a surprise that Toool have created a decent set, they're pretty much their own target group and design stuff that they would want to use themselves.
They are definitely the best so far. The only way to make them better would be to redesign the card so that the picks can be put back but that would most likely cut down on the number of tools that can be fit in it which wouldn't be good.
@@Zieh-Fix yeah that's basically what I was thinking. By the way do you know if the Lockmaster® Credit Card Pick v2 are being old here in the states? They look like the only other set that might be better than the Toool card.
@@Zieh-Fix that's too bad. I guess I could send message to Think Peterson about it but unless you can work out a licensing agreement for them to make the cards out of government steel then I don't think that's going to help.
This design clearly came from enthusiasts instead of "experts" from the industry (the reach profile gives that away, to me). The only question remaining: how thick is this set of tools?
An interesting selection of tools, however still seems to be somewhat incomplete, and still looks to be a lot of wasted space... although the best use of the card, as a whole, compared to the previous sets you have looked at
Wow great set Really great choice compared to the 1st two Just like yesterdays one they would be ideal to add acales to and make full time picks out of We all know the wendt is the best of the best but a great runner up in my opinion
This toool kit is definitely the best so far, it's the first I can being used more than once, and it looks pretty slick too. Definitely shows that the card concept is purely for emergencies though.
Really solid set. Best so far this week imo 👍😃

The tool set is so much better than the other cards this week. Fantastic design for sure.
You can tell this card was well thought out. It's easy to look back and point out mistakes like I do but this card is one i'd consider for practical uses.
Not a surprise TOOOL is a wonderful organization and I'd only expect good things in order for them to endorse
What a nice set you can tell they gave the ToooL set some thought when they made it.
They did, and I have the privilege of discussing these changes with someone involved in both cards / all things locksport in 56 minutes. Will let you know how it goes in the video today :)
That's a great bit of design! Looks like they focused on maximizing function while minimizing waste and weight -really cool!
Toool did a solid job on functionality and economically viable.
I'm eyeballing one of these or the Wendt to rivet together for a pocket kit....
Sounds like a reasonable plan

Decent looking kit. Covers what you may need when you don’t have a full set with you.
That's the problem with sets like this in general. If you are stuck or in a jam, you never know what you'll need.
So cool, I'm the guy that adjusts doors at a locker factory, I really should add lockpicking to my resume. Thanks for the review and giveaway!
That TOOOL set is pretty awesome! I would love to see you do a review of the chaos card from sparrows. This video was super helpful though. I would definitely get this for my EDC.
A quantum step forward from the previous three contenders. I have a feeling tomorrow's offering will give the "TOOOL kit" a run for its money!
The card we all came to see
Hope you enjoy it!
@@LegalLockPicker I did
The toool one is so far the best one I've seen, aside from the Wendt v2, by far.
Much better than the previous sets but I suspect the best is yet to come
The toool card looks quite nice! The profiles all look great and the quality is clearly a step up from the previous sets.
It looks like a cool set and the holes in the handle of each pick are a nice way to toss it on a key ring after breaking apart.
Best wallet set so far. The first three didn't seem to be terribly functional without some work with some sandpaper.
Another good job, thank you
Thanks Ed, this one was such a pleasure to do. It’s going to be a blast going back to regular picks next weeks :)
The TOOOL tool looks really nice. Best so far. Have you considered the sparrows chaos card?
Yes, however the sparrows chaos card fell out of the parameters for this particular review series.
I have the sparrows chaos card, and it sux compared to what I've just seen. On the other hand...all other cards fall short when compared to Wendt new card.
Overall, pretty good. I think a short hook would probably do more good if it was there instead of one of the other picks, though.
I would say say that these cards should be more focused on emergency rapid entry. I say that based on personal experience using them.
@@LegalLockPicker That makes sense, but I still think a short hook should've replaced one of the deeper hooks, since if you're going to SPP or zip, a short hook would be easier to use in most cases.
Very nice I just wish there was a way to have them be able to replaced into the cards to stay
I have been waiting to see this set. Nice to see the Quint included in this set. I might get one just to compliment my Wendt set.
Never been a fan of wallet cards, but this one might change my mind. Very nice.

Considering it's only 0.024 thick these would probably work on most euro locks. Seems like a very nice set to carry around just in case...

Going from strength to strength with these sets, much better quality finish on this one made a big difference with the picking ;-)
The first pick set I bought was from Christina Palmer. Wasn't from toool but from Lockpick Extreme. Same set as the toool set I guess.
These sets keep getting better.
Just a little more thought and the outside bits could have been made better for tensioners, but I'd buy this card
Finally a set that didn't totally suck and way less wasted metal this time around
I need to buy a set of these to throw in my emergency bag btw I sent you an email with pictures of my lock pick set in the chapstick tube
Looked like an interesting way to carry tools
finally one that at least looks decent. bar has been set really low so far though...
You could not be more correct
I think the new ToooL kit is the best. If I was to buy one that is my choice. Great review mate😊🇦🇺👍
the toool card is the best by far more for u get two desent rake s
I wish they had a comb instead of the reach and used more of the sides
They are definitely the best so far. The only way to make them better would be to redesign the card so that the picks can be put back but that would most likely cut down on the number of tools that can be fit in it which wouldn't be good.

So far we're getting better! But think there's still better to come...
Much better looks like. The best is yet to come though.
Its a good kit, much better planned. I would buy it as it is. Remember to keep me out if the comp, no need for me to be greedy. :)
"Not made for permanent use.... However" LOL 😂🤣
I ordered a Wendt from Germany and it almost got delivered but sadly it got lost in the mail.
Interesting set, could have included an s rake instead of the reach pick
Looks like something I would actually consider carrying in my wallet.

@@Zieh-Fix Ah, that's what I get for watching while the kids are raising hell. Thanks!
Looks like toool did a good job, I hope tomorrow is even better
Too bad they don't sell that here already in europe. That looks like a really nice set 👍
Santa 🎅 could leave that in my stocking.
Santa might not be able to, maybe Legallockpicker could! GL on giveaway

The Toool set looks great 👍🏻
Favorite one so far
This one looks good.
It's too bad you couldn't put them back together after you have to take it apart
At last, a decent card.
I'd buy it.
