You can blame Samsonov for not playing that puck but Marner stops skating, Nylander puck-watching, Reilly caught flat-footed turning the wrong way. Pastrnak simply wanted it more.

I'm a 66 year old Bruins fan. For much of my life when I was younger, Boston Bruin fans were tortured by the Montreal Canadiens.The Bruins could never defeat the Canadiens in the playoffs. It was agonizing to experience year after year. So even though I'm happy the Bruins won, I sympathize with Toronto Maple Leafs fans. I know how they feel.
The 08-09 season where they swept the Canadiens felt SO good!
From a B’s fan, looks like a lack of effort on the defense. They looked like they were already on summer vacation. Can’t blame it on Sammy, when the D should have stopped Pasta from getting there in the first place. I don’t understand the lack of effort on the Leafs part in a game 7. 🤷🏻♀️

they need a number 1 goalie. Samsonov is a fine goalie but he isn't a true number 1. Secondly, they need a number 1 defenseman. Reilly is just not gonna cut it

I feel for you man. As a Bruins fan, I'm excited, but I feel for ya. I know how it feels, probably not as much as you do, but I know how it feels. Woll and Samsonov were studs the last few games. I think if he would've come out and cut the angle a bit instead of hanging back in his net, it could've been a different outcome.

That was a nice set play with that bank pass off of the corner board. Home ice advantage with knowing how the puck reacts off of the back and corner boards can lead to some nice set ups.

I agree that Marner is not made for the playoffs. I don’t watch him a lot cause I’m a Rangers fan.. but I see a lot of ppl blaming the goal on Marner. He’s a Winger. He’s not a Center. Why would he get to a puck deep in the zone before a defenseman or a center?! Once they’re in the zone, his job is to cover the point. Unless Pasta was his man coming through the neutral zone, but I’m pretty sure he just hopped on from a change.

I knew the Bruins had their trick in their sleeves in the home game and they'll have a rematch with the Cats. Back then, before the start of the playoffs, I predicted the Bruins to sweep the Leafs, but no. This happened.
This is why you shouldn't be a leaf fan, my dad is a leaf fan, I'm a Boston fan and I live in Toronto, he wanted to kill me when he saw me celebrating. I'll never stop cheering for Boston.
