Ranijhula - Nagarkot Hike | Ranijhula Suspension Bridge | Tudi Waterfall | Buddha Peace Park

This video is all about a one day hike to Nagarkot. We started our journey from Koteshwor Kathmandu at around 10 AM. We took a public bus for Kamalbinayak. It took us about 30 minutes to reach Kamalbinayak. In Kamalbinayak we explored Kamal Pokhari as well.According to wikipedia the history of the pond is uncertain possibly dating back to the Licchavi-era and it had been used by the Malla kings. From the Kamal pokhari premises we got a bus to Nagarkot. We didn’t go to Nagarkot directly, we decided to go to Ranijhula first and then hike to Nagarkot. It took us around 20-30 minutes to reach Rani Jhula. In Rani Jhula we explored a beautiful suspension bridge. The scenery from the bridge was beyond my expectation. It was very beautiful and eye-pleasing. After exploring nature for about 30 minutes and taking a few photos, we decided to go towards Tudi waterfall. It took us around 30 minutes only to reach Tudi waterfall from the bridge. Tudi waterfall is a small waterfall. It broke our expectations. Anyway we enjoyed nature and continued our hike towards Nagarkot. After about 1 hour of hiking we reached Buddha Peace Park Shanti Dada. We explored the park. There are beautiful flora and fauna along with the statue of Budda. We enjoyed the view from the park and decided to return Kathmandu because it was already 4 PM. Then we took a bus from Shanti Dada to Kamalbinayak. From Kamalbinayak we took a bus for Koteshwor.
