I love the user interface and design of this instrument! The colored rocker switches may not be the *fastest* way to select a sound, but they're quite attractive, and are one of the things that set the CP73/88 apart from the competition.

The controls certainly look like a big step up from older CP models.

Jhon James Dayak The Montage 8 hands down has the best action out of the both and in the market of synths ever

    Hi, CP88 or CP4 or P515?...

P515 is more for home use and if you like the built-in speakers I'd probably say go with that. But to me the CP88 sounds much better

Thanks friend, and please tell me which is your favorite key action, including Roland RD-2000 and Kawai MP7/ES8?... Thanks!...

Add classic synth sounds (see the Arturia Collection) and many others missing (can't believe the CP4 had more than 400 sounds, and this currently have just 61!), a Yamaha Sound Library editor (with FREE replaceable sounds) and a Yamaha sequencer editor (so we can record drum tracks and parts and backing tracks to play along in real time). Both for iOS, Windows and Android. Improve the pianos and organs. Otherwise this will not fly. Sorry but this is overpriced for what currently offers.

Did you fail to mention that you ripped of the Noord piano control surface design??..lol

Well, it’s normal in any industry to pick up on good ideas, Yamaha has been copied too... it’s the way it goes in innovations...

Not really a rip-off, just good design. That's like saying paper companies ripped each other off by putting a margin on the left and top
