  • Apples, Onions, and Fennel seeds provide the perfect flavors that complement the sour cabbage. We are anxious to see how this ferment turns out in the next couple of weeks. As we often do, we went by feel with the ingredients but for anyone who wants to replicate this recipe, it goes as follows: 1 apple, 1 onion, and 1 teaspoon of fennel seed for every cabbage. Then add 2% of its weight in salt.
